The two dogs, Sasha and Mocha, the lawsuit calls "menacing." The owners say they have never received a complaint prior to this week's lawsuit.

Park City billionaire couple Matthew and Tatiana Prince have filed a lawsuit over their neighbors' "menacing" dogs.

The Princes’ neighbors, Eric and Susan Hermann, recently filed an appeal seeking to reverse approval of the Prince's home plans, claiming the project isn’t in line with local development rules.
This week the Princes’ attorney filed a lawsuit against the Hermanns seeking damages for trespassing, private nuisance, and violation of a trail easement.
The complaint specifically calls out the Hermanns’ two Bernese Mountain dogs, Sasha and Mocha.
It says the dogs, each weighing over 100 pounds, are “menacing” and have aggressively chased and harassed those nearby. The suit also alleges the Hermann’s consistently walk the dogs unleashed on the Treasure Hill trail that runs along the perimeter of the Prince property, in violation of city code.
The complaint calls the Hermanns “elderly and frail,” claiming they can’t control the dogs. Attorney Bruce Baird, who is representing the Princes, declined to provide additional comment about the suit.
The Hermanns told KPCW they have never received a complaint about their dogs.
In a statement, Eric Hermann said the timing of the civil complaint is not shocking given their appeal of the Prince home. He said the lawsuit “not only falsely and viciously attacks our gentle dogs but also argues that all dogs should be excluded from pedestrian easements in Park City.”
Along with damages, the lawsuit is aiming to ban the Hermanns from bringing their dogs on the trail that connects to their backyard.

The Hermanns’ appeal of the Princes’ home, which is co-signed by eight other neighbors, will be reviewed by Park City’s three-member appeal panel April 30.

Can't we cage these people and keep them quarantined in San Francisco somehow? Hell, you think they'd want to experience first hand the diversity they so cherish. Not move to Utah.

If Matt Prince is such a sissy faggot that he finds 100% goodboi berners menancing, well then no wonder he caved like a little bitch to a bunch of dickless men who screeched at him through the internet.

Yeah these stupid old fucks are letting their dogs roam.

If you care about your pets you do not let them loose to run on other people's property. In the country, or even in semi-rural areas, that is how your dog gets shot. Fuck entitled dog owners. If you care about your pets keep them contained. And if you're too frail and weak to control your large powerful dogs, get rid of them. I have no doubt the crusty old fucks can't control their dogs. Berners are massive and strong.

I'm one to not immediately take the word of the billionaire faggot filing the retaliatory lawsuit, but that's just me...

yes I'm sure he's totally making it all up because he is le evil rich guy, and not because he's tired of picking up huge piles of shit from said dogs that weigh over 100 pounds and being chased by them.

people are not obligated to tolerate or interact with your stupid animals, especially not on their own property.

Yes, these menacing dogs are shitting all over the neighborhood which is why the first complaint came immediately after they filed to block their house development. No one is asking anyone to tolerate anything, you clearly hate dogs but that doesn't mean any narrative to fit your dog hatred is immediately correct. Calm the hell down.

I like dogs! What I hate is entitled dog owners, and I loathe dog culture because it's degenerate.

I also think your response to me is funny because you're allowing your personal hatred of the plaintiff (guy that dropped KF) to shape your own narrative.

So on the word of someone filing what is clearly a retaliatory lawsuit you assume the worst of these people? Ok.

Also there's a very large difference between basing my opinion of this man on facts about his character I know to be true, and your projection of "dog culture" on this couple, just because.

you assume the worst of these people?
I'm going to assume the worst of people that let their dogs run around loose, yes. Because only entitled, trashy, stupid people do that. Only people who don't truly care about their animals do that.

"No one ever complained before!!" doesn't mean shit to me. Equally meaningless: "My pit bull has NEVER torn a baby's face off before!!!" Again more accountability-dodging and whining from entitled dog owners.

"It's been happening the whole time, but we started caring when they challenged our gaudy housing development!!" Should also not mean shit just fyi.

I'm not going to assume anything based on the nonsense in this ridiculous lawlsuit, so I'll stick to vilifying the one who's on record as being a villain until any of this is more than just mud flinging,

Remember, look at the source. Sure, dogs can be a problem and have shitty owners, but this is Matthew Prince of Cuckflare fame who cancelled Kiwi Farms and lied about it.

Do you think that he wouldn't lie about his neighbors' dogs, too?

If it wasn't true they'd deny it. They'd have said "it's not tr00!" rather than "haha no one ever complained before you"

I don't have to have any faith in the character of Prince to believe these whiny old rich jews feel entitled to let their dogs run around off-leash, shitting everywhere and chasing people.

Prince admits it's a retaliatory lawsuit which is frankly based. He bought the land, he did everything right, his kike neighbors are kvetching and Prince is fortunate enough to have the resources to fight back.

OK but in the article:

This couple live on Norfolk Avenue, so one of the houses circled in red:

The blue are trails. There is nothing up there, it's just scrubby hillside with some trails and ski runs (and soon to be this guy's mansion).

He wants to ban dogs (including dogs on leads) from all pedestrian easements in the area. He probably should have picked somewhere to live other than Park City, because there's a variety of charming local websites touting it as the most dog friendly place in the US, "we've got more dogs than people!", they should have called it Bark City etc.

As for letting dogs off the lead? I don't know if this is some sort of cultural thing like "don't let cats outdoors". To me, that scrubby mountainside looks like the perfect place to let dogs run around off the lead. You don't let the dog off the lead if the dog is dangerous, you're in an area with dangerous dogs (inner city park where your friendly Labrador might try and befriend a Bully XL) or the dog is poorly trained and won't come to you when called. But otherwise? That's the exact sort of place I'd expect to see dogs off the lead with their owners on a ramble. It's not near any farmland so the Countryside Code would say it's fine to let the dogs loose. I've often been surprised by a friendly spaniel walking somewhere like that, who comes up to say hello. I think it's cruel to have a big dog (like these Bernese dogs) and only ever walk them on the lead, not letting them use up their energy by running around.

I'm not sure what you think this quote means

"falsely and viciously attacks our gentle dogs"

But it sounds like they're denying their dogs behave this way if they're saying it's a false attack on them...

I don't have to have any faith in the character of Prince to believe these whiny old rich jews feel entitled to let their dogs run around off-leash, shitting everywhere and chasing people.

The amount of blind speculation you've done to get yourself worked up over the supposed behavior of this couple and their dogs off of a single word in this filing is truly impressive levels of autism, even for the farms.

This Prince guy has definitely harbored a lot of goodwill with his actions, so I can see why you assume he would tolerate this behavior from his neighbors before this and isn't just lashing out...
