And that's a big salad especially for somebody who's trying to lose weight. I'd also wager it's slathered with dressing that's high in fat.
There is so much dressing in that salad, it's coated the sides of the plastic container.
And if it's not full of fat, then it's full of sugar. That's a lot of calories for zero nutrition, either way.
She’s going to develop pre-eclampsia and won’t go to term. I’ll die on those last 2 hills.
Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. She wouldn't fix her eating habits to help her get pregnant, and she's sure as shit not going to do so now in order to protect herself or her baby. And I don't think she'd do any better if she was having a Mini-Me daughter with near infinite consoomer potential than she is with "just" a son.
I would not put money on her kid making it to term. Yeah, I'm saying it. This, Alex, is why your former OB-GYN practice instituted a BMI limit (even if it is a ridiculously high one, where Alex was still only 10 lbs from the cutoff pre-pregnancy gain).
A fun fact for those who are not too deep in the LearningtobeNeckless world: she buys books with blank pages.
For decoration. Blank inside with a cover on the outside.
There is no danger of her reading a page even by accident.
Alex is one of the most shallow, vain, empty humans I've seen online. There is absolutely no substance to her, no hidden depths, no complexity that she protects from public scrutiny. I'm convinced she has no inner monologue, and is just a hyperconsooming NPC.
This confirms it.
I can't even blame him or his family/friends, what a heartbreaking tragedy.
I do blame his parents, for allowing him to get that fat. He was just a kid, who should have been able to enjoy all the amusement park rides just like any other kid. Being overfed by his parents to the point where he was excluded from such common fun activities—how many fun things had he already missed out on because of his size and weight? He was robbed of a normal, healthy childhood, and then their neglect/abuse killed him on his one chance to have fun like everybody else. That's fucking tragic.
Oh, yeah,
now Evie's willing to admit that the consequences she's facing are of her own making, and her own damned fault.
As far as "deserving" to make the move in a reasonable degree of comfort and safety, and take certain things she definitely needs—this isn't about deserving. It's not about her life being just as valuable as anybody else's (because it isn't; it may be of equal value to God, but to the humans here on Earth who have to deal with the consequences of her shitty decisions, no).
It's just about dealing with reality, and reality is that she needs certain accommodations because she's destroyed her body with excessive calorie intake. To keep her already-in-progress descent into debility, then death, from accelerating (and potentially being held responsible for it), those with the job of moving her have to make those accommodations, whether any of them think she deserves them or not. Because really, she doesn't deserve them, but since she can't be set on the curb like a ratty couch with a FREE sign on her, and nobody deserves to be blamed or feel guilt for her wrecked body doing its wrecked body thing, she'll get them anyway. Undesrrving people get catered to every damned day because ultimately it's better for everybody that matters, and this is no different.
