I've had nightmares about the sadistic shit I've seen online in the past few weeks. Fuck these people and the platforms that host them. I hope the unimaginable pain that they cause and get off on comes back to them tenfold.
It seriously boggles my mind beyond belief that people are like this. I've mentioned before on the farms that I rescue, rehabilitate, and re-release baby squirrels. I've been doing it for about 8 years or so after having been trained for it by a nature center. At the moment I also have a single non-releasable living with me who's about a year old. He can't be released because of severe tooth problems. Yesterday I was going back to his room (lol yes, he gets his own room in my house) and he was on my shoulder and just as we entered his room he darted down my side, I lost my balance, and almost crushed him against the door frame. There was a scraping noise (I probably caught his side or his foot) and he squeaked a bit but after a little medical inspection he was fine and he went back to normal soon enough after getting a pecan as an apology from me.
Nonetheless, after I had closed his door to his room so he couldn't see or hear me, I went to my couch and I literally sat there crying for almost an hour. The thought that I had almost seriously injured an animal entrusted to my care, even accidentally, completely devastated me. I'm not a liberal tree-hugger feely guy, either. I'm outdoorsy, love camping, kayaking, etc. There's always a vehicle in my garage in various states of being dismantled, etc. Lol typical guy stuff. Meanwhile I was completely crippled by almost injuring a squirrel. I can't even begin to comprehend or understand how black your soul has to be, to do the things that have been documented in this thread. How utterly devoid of humanity. I normally don't wish bad on people but I agree - I wish for nothing but what they've done to be revisited on them a hundredfold.
It's funny that when I was younger I never believed in demons. I thought they were just to scare people or to illustrate parables, etc. But honestly there's no way I could wade through this thread and not think that demons aren't real. They are completely real and nothing will ever convince me otherwise because the people in this thread - their souls are so black that not even God could save them.
Coming back to once again thank Kiwis for what they do to stop animal abuse. Please remember to look after yourself and hug your animals, I know you've seen some horrific shit when researching. You're doing Gods work.
I agree. I really don't have what it takes to do the actual fighting but I'm grateful there are people who can wade through the horrors to put an end to it. Truly the real heros.
When I was younger, I tried volunteering at a children's hospital for terminally ill kids. I only lasted a day and told them I couldn't come back. They told me not to feel bad because most people who volunteer don't last more than a day, either. I just don't have the fortitude and I'm utterly useless in these situations.
I'm eternally thankful for the people who can power through such horrors and make sure they're put to an end.
