Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

What's the deal with Doomcock? All I know of the guy is he wears a milk jug mask and they somehow made him a villain in some MCU shit
He was an early part of what became known as the Fandom Menace on YouTube (which was a mix of people from G+G, CG, and other channels) that started after Disney released The Last Jedi and Star Wars fandom was outraged by it's bullshit. (TLJ was the movie that launched a thousand anti-SJW/woke YouTube careers.) Apparently, he's some kind of singer or entertainer in real life. He used to have a regular YouTube show with Gary of Nerdrotic that focused on paranormal, aliens, conspiracy kind of stuff, and he guested on a lot of YouTuber streams.

Doomcock's reaction commentary used to be fairly popular when it was mainly about Star Wars and Star Trek criticism. Years later Doomcock started going hard into reporting supposed rumors that came from his supposed secret operatives within Lucasfilm and Hollywood. He was a big champion of the idea that there was a secret civil war inside of Lucasfilm and that any minute now Kathleen Kennedy was going to be fired. (He did a fair amount of collaboration with a Hollywood writer named Kamron Pasha who started making the rounds on YouTuber channels trying to grift the same kind of bullshit about his Hollywood spies with insider scoops about drama within Lucasfilm and Marvel.)

This kind of fake rumor-mongering started a rift between Doomcock and other YouTubers who didn't want to be associated with false copium content. Now Doomcock is largely a pariah doing solo streams. The guy seems kind of schitzo, but maybe he's just hyperactive. He's kind of a modern-day vaudeville act.

I remember the rift culminating with Ryan Kinnel making fun of Doom's fans and Doomcock getting all high and mighty about it. NOT MY FANS NOT EVER!!! Nerdrotic calls Ryan baby boy and gets really protective about him. That seem weird to anyone else?
Yeah, that was the moment of the rift between Doomcock and Gary/G+G. The way I remember it, the the FNT/G+G people were trying to pussyfoot around the situation, but Ryan wanted to confront the situation head on, so he called out Doomcock by name on his claims. Gary tried to walk a neutral line. He and others said that Ryan shouldn't attack the fans, but they didn't disagree with him denouncing fake copium. Doomcock had a screaming hissy fit online for days after the event. Ultimately Gary sided more with Ryan, because he agreed that Doomcock was making up fake news to keep his clicks up.

Gary calls Ryan baby boy to goof on him. I wouldn't say he's more protective of Ryan than he is of his other friends from what I've seen. He's loyal, but he also lets people fight their own battles when they're wrong.

For a while I had a theory that Doomcock was responsible for Kathleen Kennedy keeping her job so Iger or whoever could discredit the leaks. That would've been funnier for Doomcock to be responsible for totally killing Star Wars and so many other franchises.
It's doubtful the highest echelons of Disney give a shit about Doomcock. They're much too busy slap fighting with Ron DeSantis, and trying to get Congress to extend their copyrights for another 5 million years.

He's a pariah among people with low tolerance for bullshit, but there's still a lot of angry Star Wars fans who wanna believe what he says. They need that copium. Just like I'm sure a lot comic book fans used to go EVS for their copium fix.

The funny thing about Doomcock is that, despite being massively full of shit, he's actually holding his own quite well. Way more people watch his crap than EVS.

Per Socialblade, Doomcock still sits at a respectable 1M views per month, whereas EVS is currently sitting at almost NEGATIVE 400K because he keeps sending shit to Winston Smith at the Ministry of Truth (not be confused with @Miniluv). Even leaving aside all the memory holing he's been doing, EVS only gets a fraction of Doomcocks views per video.

EVS:

EVS is in the wrong racket. He should drop the whole comic book thing and just make up rumors about Star Wars all day.

I guess.

I don't think Ryan is wrong about Doomcock though.

Gary and Kommandant doomcock actually had multiple shows. they had that one with the alien/conspiracy stuff and the inquisition where they would whine about more general pop culture stuff like star wars and especially star trek.

so they were very closely tied until Gary dropped him like the potato he is.

full of shit, basically Mike Zeroh in a milk jug mask with puppets, he also teams up with Kamran Pasha who apparently knows insiders at disney and has a patreon for rumors.

Darth Melvin (Knights of Melvin channel) does a bunch of videos exposing Doomcock's and Kamran Pasha's fuckery. Here's a link to one of the better ones:

And yes, I believe the Darth Melvin persona is basically a goof on Doomcock.

holy shit i had no idea it got this autistic. I'm gonna have to watch all of these. 2 videos in and there's already a wiccan priest trying to cast spells on a youtuber, lol.

EDIT: video 4 and we now have the threat of Epstein assassins that will murder youtubers if they look into a Disney+ show.

I can't.

Oh that kamran pasha guy. I remember this guy appearing a shit load of times on midnight's edge and he would keep trying to predict a bunch of things, end up wrong and then appear on midnight's edge again to explain why he's actually right and each time midnight's edge would eat it up. I got tired of it so I'd tune out as soon as he pops up. I didn't care for most of what they're talking about since I rarely watch movies but they're okay background noise.

So what happened to kamran pasha? I don't really watch any of ME streams to the full length anymore but now I see zero of kamran pasha when I open it when before I would get the dude on stream half the time.

Not sure, but I have a feeling that Midnight's Edge/Andre/Tom eventually caught on to Pasha's bullshit. I haven't seen him on ME for awhile and I watch fairly regularly.

I think Kamran has more or less been exposed and run off of most of the channels that used to host him. For a while he had made inroads with Midnight's Edge and then with the WDW Pro and Valiant Renegade channels as a semi-regular guest. Then Jonas Campbell (connected to WDW Pro) started to do a journalistic investigation story in connection to one of the lawyers connected to Disney (it's been a long time, so I'm not quite sure about all the exact details off the top of my head). During this investigation, Campbell inadvertently discovered that a story that Pasha had been circulating about him having spoken with this very same attorney was a total fabrication on Pasha's part. The lawyer had never heard of Pasha.

Campbell, WDW Pro and company then confronted Pasha about his lie, and Pasha started to duck them, and to then write nasty conspiracy theory stuff about Campbell, WDW Pro and company on his behind-a-paywall Patreon. Pasha was pretty much exposed as a fraud after that. He continued to collaborate with Doomcock, but most of the other bigger channels he had connections with knew Pasha is a con artist.

That's the reason! I had completely forgotten about that. They might even go over that on the Knights of Melvin videos.

It might be in the first of his Sparrow files. They're great videos. (Sparrow, Sparrow, SPARRROW!") Kamran had a lot of people fooled for a good while. It was just dumb luck that Campbell managed to stumble on a definitive lie.

Kamron Pasha
I forgot he existed. He used to be everywhere and never didn’t have a clue what he was talking about always seemed to be ad-libbing.

I can‘t remember who it was but there was someone who is involved in the entertainment industry who was asked about him (and isn’t involved with culture war grifting) didn’t have a clue who he was, and I noticed after that Pasha started to disappear. I didn’t realise the Midnights Edge spastics exposed him.

Speaking of which, it’s weird how Midnights Edge gets away with being an epicentre for so much retardation. Pretty much everyone on that is a liar who haven’t got a clue what they are talking about.

I looked back into the history and found the details. Knights of Melvin covers the issue in this YouTube video (The relevant info stars around the 12:11 mark.) The That Park Place story Knights of Melvin references in the video which exposes Kamran is The Acolyte Is Actively in Development: A Deep Dive into Conspiracies.

In 2023, Kamran had been trying to convince people that the reportedly in production Disney Star Wars streaming series The Acolyte was nothing more than vaporware. One of the things Kamran claimed was that Robert Allen, the attorney representing Karyn McCarthy who was suing Lucasfilm, had phoned Kamran, Allen had informed Kamran of "shocking details not yet in the public record," and that if Allen's sources were correct, that this info would substantiate Kamran's claim that The Acolyte was nothing but "a glorified sizzle reel" and not a real show coming out.

Jonas Campbell, who was writing an investigative article for That Park Place in April of 2023, contacted Robert Allen himself, and Allen said he didn't remember a conversation with Kamran at all. In fact, he couldn't even remember talking to anybody named Kamran Pasha. Busted.

He's a guy who claims to have insider information on things but, aside from a few lucky guesses early on (which caused people to initially think he's credible), he's completely full of shit. He's mostly famous for claiming Kathleen Kennedy is right on the cusp of being fired. He's been doing that for so long, it's a meme now. The latest thing is that George Lucas is coming back and... wait for it... Kathleen Kennedy will be fired.

I think at one point he was caught out sourcing his information from 4Chan.

There's a fair number of videos out there about him. For example:

I remember seeing his videos a while back, the first couple you see are ok but then they all become the same. The one thing I liked was he had an interview with someone who went to the Star Wars hotel and they had video from the inside, but outside of that it was all bullshit and repetitive.

He also had this weird Linkara style skit thing going on in his videos, not just his mask but the various stuffed animals played by him which was annoying.

I remember trying to look him up online after thinking he was full of shit and him having barely any online footprint for someone who is involved in an industry were your profile is everything. He was clearly on a LARP.

If I could do that I wonder why it took the “journalists” of Midnights Edge so long.

Yeah, he fooled a lot of people. At first I liked him, but what he was saying seemed a little too good to be true. I really started to get suspicious of him when earlier on he made some weird remarks slamming YouTubers and their audience. I took what he was saying as a clue that he was just a Hollywood tourist on these channels, and that he was primarily interested in exploiting the channels and the audiences.

One other major tip-off that Kamran was a fraud was when he had this crazy story about how Bob Iger was punishing Kathleen Kennedy by making her write some essay or something like she was some kind of school kid. What major corporate executive is going to do something that pointless, petty, and stupid?

These kind of people get by because a lot of people are too lazy and or busy to do their due diligence and vet credibility.

This Knights of Melvin vid is probably more relevant than the last one I posted. (You can just start from the beginning.) It directly addresses the confrontation between Kamran and WDW Pro and Valiant Renegade.

Think Doomcock did too, havent seen those two do a stream in ages about how KK is committing fraud and the feds are involved.
