The problem with this though is that it isn't cheap. The average tattoo removal for a 9x9cm piece is around $200-300 a session. Very simple tattoos like above, often require a minimum of 4 sessions. However depending on the facility, a separate laser may be necessary for the removal of coloured ink. Lower end facilities tend to have a laser for black and a separate one for colour. Regardless, she could need up to 10 sessions for some of her pieces.
If I had to estimate, you're looking at a total of roughly $1500-2500USD per tattoo.
And pieces like the bat? Fuck that, you're looking at like 9-10k easy. Same with her back; like 10-15k minimum.

I think Anisa and Ian are hurting pretty bad financially, and getting new ink is a lot cheaper (and immediately gratifying) than returning for sessions to get removals. Then again, she did just spend like 18k on her fucked up terrible back piece. So maybe they have a side budget for this retardation.

Your theory holds weight. Rogaine hot his sleeves after having an acid trip, atleast that was the word on Sherdog, when I was there. Anus is literally like half a step from being deemed retarded, hence all the shitty tattoos.

The way I see it, she has nothing of interest to bring to a random conversation with a random person. So she thinks the tattoos will help out, because someone will ask what's with the Popeye tattoo, and she unfortunately won't have a reason for it. It's just ink.

Tattoos with stories are fine, but 99% of the time it's either "someone died" or "I had an extreme experience" when boiled down. It's a memory token, essentially.

The problem is poorly adjusted individuals sperging out every time it gets brought up rather than just saying "mum died and she loved butterflies" or "I almost died in a car crash so I got a cross".
