A lot of it is the progression of the weight loss combined with photos posted by Nick.

Even with a fuller chest, Kayla looked like she was going to snap in half in the first photo from 2023. The rest of her deflated later.

Nick's takes on weight (especially concerning sexual desirability) appear to be contributing factors, and Nick has lost a lot of weight too.

This is an unhealthy trend.

Also, I do agree with the idea that Nick is a heavy influence on these radical changes in Kayla's appearance (both the dramatic weight loss, and the reconstruction). Him saying those things about his wife having a ruined body live on YouTube to thousands, that's just unbelievable. While I don't think you should ever say that kind of thing to the woman that carried your children, that's the kind of shit you yell in a heated argument in private, and you apologize later because of course you didn't mean it. What kind of monster says that about his wife that gave him his children?

It makes complete sense to me that she started undergoing all these radical changes after hearing this, plus come on, him lusting over Daniel Paul Harris for so long, saying live on YouTube to thousands that "iF i WeRe sInGle..." how much he wanted to fuck him? Tell me that doesn't mess with your wife/girlfriend's head, plus the ultimate discovery that it was a man. Nothing about Nick's presence online pays her any respect or does her any favors. Even when he's incoherently rambling about how "she's hot to me guys", he still manages to do so in a way that just comes off as dishonest. Nobody has to spend 25 minutes to convince you they think their wife is still pretty.

Having said all that, she's still a grown adult (and a mother), so at some point I think we need to just say she needs to take responsibility for her own life. Having a shitstain husband doesn't mean throwing your motherly duties out the window, and that's the unforgivable part to me. She could ruin her body and face all she wants, and I wouldn't really care that much if she didn't commit the much bigger sins, because when you put these things together, it just paints a much bigger picture of really not caring all that much for what you really should be.

My sympathy is largely dependent on to what degree Nick influenced her. I think Kayla has more sunk costs in this situation, she's had numerous kids and if she were to be the one to leave Nick, she's a late 40s woman with 5 underage kids, may leave her in a hard position for another relationship.
