This bracket backslides will mean that every American needs to reassess their spending and tax returns to pay 1% to 4% more in personal taxes unless provisions are extended, revised or made permanent over the next 28 months.
The house GOP are going to be out of power in 2025.did you guys watch yellen at the means and way committee hearing? The Trump tax cuts are going to expire and Biden isn't going to extend them. we all knew the line about "no tax increases for households making under $400,000" was going to be a lie but the technicality is pretty clever. oh and Yellen is working with europe to let the eurofags steal 120 billion of US tax revenue, while letting them subsidize their own companies, and then make the under 400k crowd pay the shortfall.
If i didn't expect to get shafted i would be in despair right now.
That massive number is the reduction in home values caused by the 2017 tax law that capped federal deductions for state and local real estate and income taxes at $10,000 a year and also eliminated some mortgage interest deductions. The impact varies widely across different areas. Counties with high home prices and high real estate taxes and where homeowners have big mortgages are suffering the biggest hit, as you’d expect, given the larger value of the lost tax deductions. But as we’ll see, homeowners all over the country are feeling the effects.
This is false.mortgage interest was no longer deductible
dammitFour years ago this would have been a self-inflicted oops, but now it's so apparent to even the normies there's not going to be any backlash to stating the obvious.
Mortgage interest was still deductable but was limtied slightly the bigger change was there is a $10,000 limit on State and Local taxes. So if you're in a high income tax state(California), and have high property taxes(California) you max out your $10,000 deduction, which used to be unlimited. The tax cuts are definitely going away because if you recall, mortgage interest was no longer deductible, which caused a lot of asshurt amongst blue state coastal liberals with large homes: https://www.propublica.org/article/trumps-trillion-dollar-hit-to-homeowners
Talk about Slow Joe. Making this announcement 10 days after April 20th.
Not to mention public opinion is swinging back AWAY from legalization, with hard left states like Oregon moving to re-criminalize because of how every public space began to smell like shit and fill with addicts.Talk about Slow Joe. Making this announcement 10 days after April 20th.
So essentially it will legalize medical marijuana across the US unless a state prohibits it. 15 states currently do not allow medical marijuana. Most of these states presumably would already have laws scheduling cannabis as a schedule 1 drug, making this entirely pointless. The only difference this makes if the ATF goes after a medical marijuana user for lying on a 4473. Medical marijuana growers and dispensaries would be able to use banks again as well, not if they sell recreational though.
You know what Joe if you repeal the NFA I will absolutely vote for you*!
Maybe. But Biden has a way of getting away with things. Ashley and Hunter have been trying to bring him down for years and keep failing. That assumes they can keep the bomb from exploding before the election. Doesn't look likely from how shaky things are.

Biggest Understatement Everbecause of how every public space began to smell like shit
Legalization itself is not the problem, doing away with things like public intoxication, drug dealing and literally stealing money meant for homeless schizos (billions were, and continue to be allocated for it but the drug addled schizos are still living in tents and the best they came up with is repurposing garden sheds into "tiny homes") is.Not to mention public opinion is swinging back AWAY from legalization, with hard left states like Oregon moving to re-criminalize because of how every public space began to smell like shit and fill with addicts.
This has got to be one of the most retarded takes I’ve read on this site.Legalization itself is not the problem, doing away with things like public intoxication, drug dealing and literally stealing money meant for homeless schizos (billions were, and continue to be allocated for it but the drug addled schizos are still living in tents and the best they came up with is repurposing garden sheds into "tiny homes") is.
Solution: want to get high? Go the the government "drugs that get you high and only shit that gets you high" store, with your ID and get some drugs, one visit a day allowed. Separate room for safe injection, act up and out you go. Drug treatment free of charge, financed by the reasonable tax on said drugs (that can't be tapped into by law). No loitering allowed or its forced treatment in jail. That's it. No special screening or onerous requirements.
The weekend binger finds a way to get high, regardless, and the hardcore addicts do as well.
Do you all know that all drug treatment orgs and facilities have a horrible success rate? Like less than 10%? Some people are just that susceptible to chronic addiction. Often its not the drugs but the people they do them with and/or they have an underlying mental illness that's undiagnosed/treated inappropriately. The government and shady NGOs are not equipped to address this, and I suspect it's by design because someone's making billions.
The reason getting people off drugs is so hard is that it is far more labor-intensive than anyone but rich people can affordDo you all know that all drug treatment orgs and facilities have a horrible success rate?
