Not really. The fact it's a mainstream website with a small community means there's too much diversity of thought to have the kind of hivemind delusions you'd see in places like REEEEsetEra and certain subreddits (to give you an idea as to how small, on a given day, the most popular trending image will likely have at most 60 upvotes). The site's most popular content is, despite its name, by and large softcore porn, and most users are unabashed coomers. On the other hand, politisperging of either extreme tends to get downvoted hard and while most of the userbase could be called "pro-trans", the comments on Keffals' Catboy Ranch are almost overwhelmingly in condemnation of our boy Lucas.
The site hit its userbase peak around the start of the Gamergate era (c. 2014) and there were a few lolcow-ish characters then (the most notable and recent of which was a user called Poochyena, who was infamous for being an insufferable leftist contrarian who would always argue in bad faith and got banned after defending Cuties and then posting hardcore porn to protest KYM's "sexist" rules on female nudity), but those users have long since been shitcanned and none of the ones who remain really stand out aside from the odd drive-by troll.
I only use it to search for reaction images and memes for use on other sites, and I think that's what most people use it for too.

Not sure what it's like now but when i looked at it in the 2010s it was 40% ponies 40% softcore porn and 20% softcore pony porn. Its basically just people commenting on meme images and people who sperg on the "controversial" memes just get downvoted and buried. One thing i remember was they where extremely pro gamer gate when it happened, they kinda come off as "facts and logic" debate bros.
KYM just feels to normie to really care about. Like there trolls are people like that "Emperor Palpitoad" guy who would just post "I don't get it" on ever image. Theres probably some spergs and there's all that porn but in all its literally just people commenting on memes, not much worth documenting in full.

Well if we're gonna talk about weird KYM users, then this Quiet_boi guy is the one who stands out most to me, though only for his prolificity. In defiance of his name, he will always be the top commenter for a given month, and he has already accumulated the 5th most comments on the site overall despite only being on it for 3 years now.
Compare his join date to the join dates of the other top 4 commenters.

Don't forget the Discord, which is a giant circlejerk, and the moderators, who are mostly commies or troons. It probably wouldn't be easy to write a thread about Know Your Meme, but I think there's enough going on to justify it.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, I just wanted to talk about my experience with the site as someone who has lurked and posted there for several years. I don't know what the early days of the site used to be like but I first stumbled upon it in early/mid 2010s since the site often popped up on Google, I definitely remember a lot of bronies and weebs being there but I wasn't really active during the GamerGate era or 2016 election so I didn't notice a shift in the community. I only started posting at around 2018 and got banned by the faggot mods 2 years later after the election but I still post there with my alt. I might actually leave though because the new layout they are now forcing is a complete abortion and many functions don't even work properly.
While the site definitely shifted to the right during the GG and Trump years, it definitely feels like the site is now shifting to the left, with most of the notable right wing users getting banned by the commie mods, I have noticed the moderation has got more strict after the Ukraine war.
At its core it's a decent documentation site and more normie friendly version of ED without the edgy shit but some articles are quite outdated.
I would say the site's userbase is basically normies who think they are above reddit, but afraid to use KiwiFarms or 4chan.
Poochyena is probably the most infamous lolcow on the site, a complete leftist lunatic who would shit up many discussions, if I remember he finally got banned after defending the Cuties movie lol. Now there is a porn spammer who uses his name.

Middle right is Calculator Fetish, he apparently constantly posted images with characters having calculators edited on their faces

So I think there definitely is some potential for a thread when there are quite a few terminally online spergs on the site and I saw some users mentioning why KYM doesn't have a thread yet, it might not be as lol worthy as other sites but there is still plenty of trolls, autists and coomers.
And yes, as the other guy above said, the Discord server is giant circlejerk filled with commies and troons, but the community is quite insular and doesn't shit up the rest of the internet like ResetEra or r/gamingcirclejerk so most people are not aware of them. I tried engaging with them but it was a complete waste of time.

Your first Discord screenshot mentions two other users who were banned: Greyblades and Ergonomic Chair. Neither got a dedicated thread asking what the hell happened to them, but from my understanding both were cases of a few mods just really fucking hating them and no other mods caring enough to stop them, even if the justifications for the ban were totally nonsensical.
A very recently banned user who did get a thread is Kommando_Kaijin. Didn't see him around much, but supposedly he was manipulating votes with at least one alt account. If true, then it's probably the most legitimate ban of a non-bot account in the last several years.

It's true, though. Most of the users treat KYM as a repository for coomer shit for updoot farming, while the few users who upload actual memes that get next-to-votes provide what outsiders like me are actually looking for.
Also I posted that back in April, leading up to the election the userbase has swung HARD left and very few right-leaning users remain. The comments sections are basically just Reddit echochambers now. Still not sure if it the community is big or vitriolic enough for a Community Watch thread, however. @Farmer Known as Sneed 's writeup above is a pretty good summary of everything happening on the site.
