Updates
  • cargo computer should be fixed (annoying byond syntax change was causing it to crash while trying to treat crates like secure crates)
  • cargo scanner updated at the same time
    • added ability to use secure crates normally if they dont have a contract on them
    • you can now scan floor tiles for value as well
  • ntfleet mass casualty dudes now spawn on roller beds
  • check git for smaller changes if you care

Get on or the demented lunatic known only as 'The Pulverizer' will kill again.

Thanks to hermeticum for playing AI and sorry for the bug at the end, I did blow up the station in the old fashioned manner (which is how the nuke used to work anyway) with a radius 100 devastation bomb in honor of your victory which is what the lag spike was

Still was a good time, also posting as a reminder for the Kiwi Konservation Koalition contract for 30 Kiwi Eggs for Hydroponics.

To summarize some of the games

1: extended until cargo was blown up by meteors and firelocked the entire station, hydro mass breeding kiwis and eggs
2: traitor killed hydro and the kiwi triggering an ERT response to hunt down traitors with all prejudice
3: Traitors kill the station then struggle for 10 minutes trying to break through 2 panes of reinforced glass and a metal grille before decapitating the roboticist in crit before betraying each other and the last traitor killing himself
4: the AI is malf and the gamemode is broken, also med healed a shuttle full of people and cargo tried to sell everything that can be unbolted from the ground, The captain became a bartender before facing the AI solo and dying, slobbermutt kills the paramedic and cargo tech that follows him.

Addendum to 4: I only healed half the shuttle, the other two died before I started as I tried to figure out how to cure the Captains Alcoholism.

did you know under Riveria station\rivierastation13-slavemaster\ingame_manuals
there is a HTML manual on AI MALF
and it specifically states " Software are abilities that have to be unlocked via research menu (Hardware tab). Unlocked abilities appear in Software tab. Sometimes, abilities won't appear in this tab after being researched. This can be fixed by relogging or using "ai-core" command"

I forgot to mention for 2 I was killed as a borg which spat out my MMI that he then shoved into his backpack

I proceeded to make puns until he walked up to try and trick the ERT at which point I yelled he was a traitor and was murdered

The ERT was unaware of the existence of MMI's as they beheaded the body then thought it was haunted so they incinerated it when it wouldnt stop talking

They added the destroy station verb by doing user.verbs += new/datum/game_mode/malfunction/verb/ai_destroy_station()

Thats completely wrong, you dont 'new' a proc and I have no idea what that was doing and I think its the only verb in the whole game that did that, so I think the dude coding it was just an idiot

Its possible relogging or that command would of fixed it, but I think the code was just wrong

Shilling on vg is beyond retarded because only the worst of their little community would even be willing to join. Anyone still in vg that's sane probably doesn't have a good reason to leave. Delete your post.

Maybe if the vg admin really kills the server a week from now, then it might be worth it. Until then we're only putting our server at risk for no good reason.

  • round end persistent money feedback improved
  • @HahaYes has fixed the ingame manuals by porting a bunch of wiki stuff into the game itself (so they wont rely on webpages going forward), space law now de-gayed by using a (very old) tg law book instead of the retarded baystation one
  • EFTPOS fixed (was asking eftpos guy to approve the payment instead of the guy paying, did not notice in testing since i was billing myself)
  • antag scaling reworked (that one round where 3/6 crew were traitors was rearted), it now avoids outnumbering the crew with antags
    • total crew:total antags - 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 5:2, 6:2, 7:2, 8:3, 9:3, 10:3, 11:3, 12:4, 13:4, 14:4, 15:4
      • after 15, it will be 5 + one per 10 players instead of being hardcoded (seems a bit optimistic but whatever)
    • the antag system was coded by niggers so this took up a lot more time than hoped since i went around modifying everything (to be better)
  • malf possibly fixed, didnt get around to testing it
    • i still dont recommend it, it takes way too long to wrap up which I have not had a chance to address
  • xenos mode (not guaranteed to work properly)

I'm finally able to play tonight so I've shilled the server on 4chan's /vg/ board.

Assuming we aren't inundated by an unstoppable horde of VG griefers (far more likely that absolutely nothing will happen),
we are starting in 5 minutes.

Join, or I will find the VG host and kill him for the crime of getting our hopes up about him killing himself (trannies can never do anything right)
