Post videos of people dying - Self explanatory really

"Hurray, my parachute deployed in time. Ma, put the coffee on, I'm going to make it."

Would you rather;
Death by lathe
Parachute into powerlines
Have a bus crash into your bike?

I’m going with lathe. I find the idea of some poor soul having to remove the body hilarious.

Parachute for me. One last ride down, feel that breeze. Fuck it, I'ma cut these straps. Maybe I'll bounce.
The odds are long, but you might actually survive it if you cut the straps at the right moment. You'll break your legs and possibly other bones, but it beats being electrocuted.

Not me fam, not me. Ever since I was a little sperg and had the first nightmare I remember clearly
I dreamed I had to cross the road to get to school but the traffic never stopped so I decided to jump over it instead. I leaped several hundred feet up in the air over the road joyfully, until I peaked and then began screaming downward to the concrete faster and faster feeling the speed as my guts pulled up until just before I hit the ground and woke up
I've had crippling acrophobia (outside only, I can fly in a plane np) to where I can barely climb a 10 foot ladder and the very thought of skydiving causes me to tense up.

Probably won't want to watch the footage from Ivan Lester McGuire then. He jumped out of the plane without a parachute by mistake, went to pull the ripcord on his backpack and found nothing.

Imagine discovering your nightmare as a kid was real and there is nothing left to do but watch the ground get closer along with your inevitable death.

Strikes me that if they'd got back in the car or run around the front instead, kid would've been fine. It's like in Prometheus or some of this other hollywood shlock, just run the other way! your panicked attempt to flee put you directly in the path of danger, this could have been avoided.

You're right, but it's easy to say that after the fact when you don't have a tree branch hurtling towards you. She made a split-second decision and it turned out to be the wrong one. This thread alone has many such cases.

Shaniqua gets chased and finally gatted by Tyrone as an old lady films and does nothing but say “leave her alone”. If only there was a number that could be called to bring help to the scene 🤔 The guy still hasn’t been caught yet, BTW.

Victim and assailant at large. To the shock of nobody.

Footage of an older Train attacking it's prey at night:
I was half expecting that firework factory to just assplode and take them out until the train showed up.
Something about watching people get paralyzed and then flail around impotently on the ground desperately trying to make their legs work freaks me out.
This is why you always double tap.

"Don't snitch" culture, tho in this case I doubt the cops would've arrived on time. Nothing besides the old lady taking a moist nugget and 360noscoping tyrone from her balcony would've stopped it.

It's also hard to tell where exactly an object falling from above will land, the visuals are disorienting and looking up (tilting your head backward) makes it worse.

I used to play snowballs with Dad -- Dad, me, and my then-sister (now ex-pooner, has us disowned). Dad stood on top of a small rise and we below him and about 10 meters away. Sister, being younger, was excitedly running to and fro, and I was lazily stepping aside, until I lost my balance watching a snowball, tried not to fall when I should've been dodging, and took said snowball right in the face.

Generally, I'd say running around the car (in either direction) was a bad idea, it'd be better to run along the road, perpendicular to the tree at all times. But it's easy to say when I'm not the one the tree is falling on.

In fairness the video is just 45 seconds. Telling him to leave her the fuck alone was more productive.
I think it might not have saved her, but it would've allowed the cops to more effectively chase down an at-large gunman.
