Considering Jerry has to monitor comments and approve of them before they're actually posted, the people who posted comments to Jerry have the ability to screenshot any potential responses that go against the narrative he's presenting here.
If it came out that most of the comments he received in the last couple hours were, in fact, NOT of the "Kill urself"/"Bad as Republicans" variety, then this blows up in his face even harder. Here's to hoping that happens.

The reason Jerry disabled his comments on Guard Break was because a guy RP'd in his comment section, and then it turns out the person in question does this a lot to the point of having a (rather shit) encyclopedia dramatica article about them.

Although another possible real reason he disabled comments and ratings on Guard Break was to avoid inevitable criticism from other people for bashing on Josh and calling for his death (and by extension, people realizing from the dislikes and criticisms in the comments (assuming they weren't monitored, they probably were) that he's really a piece of shit). I'm surprised he hasn't taken it down yet, since it can so easily be used against him. Josh said it himself, take everything about Josh out of the video, everything falls apart.
It seems like people have gone ahead and started to give Jerry a little hugbox-style reassurance that he's actually a good person and that they appreciate him. And he's replying with cringy gifs from some show called Star vs The Forces or Evil or something.
