Sony hate thread

It's probably been said before but everyone I knew was playing this game and trying to push it on me super hard. Didn't like the anti-cheat they used so I held off, they pulled this stunt and I'm only cemented in my decision not to play it. I'm glad they reversed their decision after huge backlash but sorry doesn't cut it anymore for me.
Yeah I jumped the gun and bought it without looking into it since my friends pressured me into buying. Lesson learned, but hey I had fun until this mess happen. They wouldn't accept my refund request either. But since I don't have to use a PSN account anymore, I'll at least play it more and get my money's worth.

I knew the bullshit was coming when the newer PS3s weren't backward compatible with PS2 or PS1 discs and that was 15 years ago.

Lucked out and bought one of the 1st generation models with the PS2 chip included so as long as it doesn't break I've can play any of my old stuff with the original disc. It's not Crash Bandicoot 2 if you're not popping it out of the jewel case.

My super slim plays PS1 discs. I thought that was the last model? Unless the model number also counts. In fact, I used it to play Silent Hill because the stupid disc refused to work in my PS One. No idea why.

It sucks that I can't play my PS2 discs though. I have so many. They'll just have to sit around awhile longer.

This just kind of reminds me that the day Valve goes public… it will truly be all over for gaming. Once Gabe is dead and gone, low iq Pajeets will inevitably inherit it and will turn it into the same slop as Sony, Microsoft, EA, Epic, Ubisoft, etc for a quick buck… I’m enjoying it while I can.
Valve makes games?

I insist this was all a matter of timing, if the Sweet Baby Inc drama hadn't happened immediately before this, the Gamers™ wouldn't have been so riled up and looking for a corporation to punish with their dicks. I don't expect Snoysuits to recognize this, but it's just another happy accident for people who like to watch spectacles like this. If Helldivers 2 came out in September '23 and they ran this same Playstation account gameplan, it probably would've worked.

Valve makes games?
Let me tell you about my favorite games, Artifact and DOTA Underlords...

I hope that people continue to refund the title. They walked things back this time.
I do find the wording interesting. When EA got slapped by Europe, they agreed to roll back children's chewable gamblor... temporarily.

One thing I find interesting is how hard they shit their pants. The game always required the unwanted PlayStation account, but they held the fence wire down and let people into the game without it. That was the fuckup.

Big ups to Valve for allowing refunds for this. Their service agents are lousy arabs, and love to argue semantics, the fact that they don't just point at the sign and deny the refund means someone from Bellevue told them to shut up for once.

I wonder if Valve will change course on allowing third party client requirements. Probably not.

I hope sony goes under for this. They're only sorry because the mass refunds hit em in the pocket.
Shit I remember that absolute trainwreck that occured after Cyberpunk released. Sony got pissed that everyone and their mothers inbred cousin were getting full refunds (believe ultimate was mid $100s), that they told CDPR subtly to eat a bag of dicks and removed the abomination from the network, than buried CDPR until they figured out how to get the game working correctly.

Valve has only pumped out shit since 2017 what are you yapping about

Prediction for the future:

All Sony single-player games won't require PSN sign-up on steam.
All Sony Multiplayer-games will require PSN sign-up on Steam

GoT is the test bed and how it will be in the future. The change will drop during the June yearly showcase, because Sony hate creating positive news for themselves.

I predict Activision will announce Infinite Warfare 2, with an innovative new idea where forces make planetfall via drop pods to take on enemy hostiles in the name of democra-the fallen.

I remember that, and it's part of the reason I hate sony. They're just greedy, disgusting scum bags. Every time they have the chance to do the right thing, or even do nothing at all and let the success come to them, they just sit down and go "Hmm, how could we make this worse for everyone AND make our profits go down at the same time?" and do it.

I've a guilty pleasure of going to Xitter and check threads about shit like this to see who defends it and what they look like

We're so willingly to put up so much info about us online for anyone to see and use that it's not surprising that some are contrarian faggots
He probably wifed up a single mom and is raising some other guy's kid like a fucking cuck.
