What do you consider culinary sins? - No goyslop sperging

I know enough people that buy the beans then use a normal person amount of sugar and cream. Swear it's a gourmet coffee. Insert Pulp Fiction picture here.

I'm one of those people.

I never go to the actual coffee outlet, but I live off of Starbucks grounds that I pick up steeply discounted.

I can't tell the difference between any of the blends though. They all taste like "Starbucks" to me.

  1. Not washing fruits/vegetables/fungi with luke warm water before you use them.
  2. Not patting your meats dry from excess moisture before you sear them.
  3. Cross contamination between meats of any kind makes my stomach churn.
  4. People wearing wedding rings whilst they make anything that requires them to knead/mix with their hands.
  5. People who don't actually put their hair up properly when cooking.
  6. Cheese on any sort of fish outside of very specific instances. (Crab Rangoons is one.)
  7. Weird and novelty fusion foods that sound gross as hell. (Sushi Pizza.)

Not rinsing your rice.

No I didn't find bugs in my rice oh my god shut up shut up
... Yo store rice in a air tight container and rinse on use. Bugs could or could not be in your rice...

But regarding the topic.

My roommate thinks that a dull knife is more safe to use for chopping. THIS IS A SIN.

Any type of trash food cooked "gourmet". Thing's like French fries, Hot dogs, Mac n' cheese, etc. It's one thing to make a gourmet burger or pizza, since there's a lot more you can do with them, but when the average place selling something has a mascot or gives you the food in a foam container, idc what kind of style you make it in, French fries are cheap side dishes, not some culinary experience.

American cheese.
American cheese is disgusting and I would dare to call it a word beginning with the letter 'G' if it wasn't such a repulsive neologism.

As for me, I've never had kholodetz, but I've had this super saturated chinese food type shit that congeals when you leave it in the fridge, so I get the feeling it'd make me throw up.
