What you describe as "normal facial perception" is an evolved capacity with dedicated neurology; for any sexually reproducing species determining sex is vital. Our brains are performing the sort of analyses that I explicitly described but we are unaware of that and the result is a subjective feeling of attraction, revulsion, discomfort, or fear.

In the environment in which we evolved, there were no pictures or videos. You would have seen the entirety of the person. You would have seen not only the physique but also how it moves. Women's wider pelvises cause them to walk differently from men. Additionally, you would have heard a voice which is yet another sexually dimorphic trait.

We live in unusual circumstances in which technology makes sexual deception possible.

Regarding those people who are either unwilling or unable to see that a given person is a man, I think I understand what you mean.
