I can't imagine Offkai would risk tanking the convention over a few random workers complaining about a certain Vtuber, but if the convention relied on these select few people to even exist I could see them following through with their demands to keep the convention alive.

Actually, if I remember correctly, Offkai was known for the fact that Vtubers would come in the flesh and interact with fans directly. Off course phase talents would come digitally, but indie talents would simply come as themselves.

Honestly, this is one of the main reasons why I'd never voluntarily go to one of these things. The only thing I'd maybe consider going to was E3 pre 2010 before everything started to get pozz'd there (now E3 is dead lol). I dislike conventions in general, mostly because I have a thing about crowds. I get very anxious and nervous around a large group of people (mostly just a really bad fear of being trampled on and just lost among the group I was going with).

More and more of these conventions are becoming havens for the mentally ill, and I already get enough exposure to that on the internet on an almost daily basis. Encountering these fuckwits IRL would definitely start making me question my own decision making.
