Want an opinion that hasn't been said before, there I'll tell you what ED was a mistake and doomed for failure from the get-go. It only lasted as long as it did because deluded spergs kept recreating it over and over again each time it died and each time made it worse.

Ok listen bro I don't know who you are, but I used it back when its domain extension was .rs and wrote the Scooby-Doo article. Also lurked on it since it was .se (No fucking idea how you were supposed to get an account, did Zaiger think it through? Also fuck the ads plastered everywhere half of them were probably malwares.) and when I used it there were about 3 edits per hour on average.

Fast forward to 2020 and the .online branding, now it was a haven for Miraheze rapefugees. It was also completely irrelevant a big contrast compared to the original ED who got mentions in the news. Kiwifarms still gets mentioned by the journos. This website is so irrelevant and outdated that people unironically thought it was dead:

The website you knew was dead a long ass time ago and nothing interesting ever popped up there or even made the news since 2017, probably earlier even.

TL;DR: I and many others are going to take a dump on it because ED has been rubbish for so long.
The only thing I'm legit angry about is the fact not a single man can run this wikisite right or even backup right. Null should make the next ED that'd actually be more likely to stay up.

I appreciate Encyclopedia Dramatica for what it is. A shitposting wiki that makes fun of Internet tardlets from the DeviantArt spergs of yesteryear to various early Internet lolcows. If it comes back, than it comes back and it'll stick around. If it's permanently dead because the sysops are retarded, then it is what it is and I appreciated the fact it lasted almost 20 years. It's just a website at the end of the day. One that can bring you bounds of laughter and entertainment, but only just a site in the end.

Problem with that is, due to the ever encroaching spam accounts, PAX made registration invite-only so you have to speak to an admin with user create privileges to get in.

Having said that, if you are not a spam or vandal, the Thizzlehat Junction Center (TJC) and the welcome message tacked onto every new user talk page will give you everything you need to know to get started.
