There’s already one on the main lolcow that started the whole thing, John “Stuttering John” Melendez.

The abridged story is that he’s a has-been/never-was “microcelebrity” whose claim to fame was being one of Howard Stern’s interns for a while, being hired only because of his stutter (hence the nickname). After the Stern gig, he had a short time on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show as the announcer (like a few episodes at most). Someone pulled the plug on that and he basically got stuffed into the writers room for a long while until he was let go or quit or something.

He went on to try and make his way through online podcasts and standup comedy but his whole entire “career” was and has been “hey I was on Howard Stern!” “Hey I was on Leno!” And that’s about it. He went on to the Chrissy Mayr show and did an interview where she asked the infamous question that was the genesis for this whole retarded gay fucked up (did I mention retarded?) mini-“sektur”:

“So I hear you dabble in standup comedy?”

Apparently that caused him to lose his shit at her (similar to how Ralph lost his shit at her when she read a superchat about his dead mom or something), and somewhere along the way it spawned this cottage industry of small-sub-count YouTube channels and podcasts who started shitting on StutJo. There’s also a feud that John got into with Anthony Cumia and Artie Lange somewhere involved but I’m fuzzy on the details. There’s a Cumia thread on KF too, technically he’s a dabbleverse character. From there, this whole retarded abortion of a mini-sektur platformed aylawgs like Kevin Brennan, Who Are These Podcasts, some guy named Shuli who used to be StutJo’s #1 aylawg (apparently he’s not well liked in the StutJo thread either), and Patrick Melton/Nobody Loves Onions, the alleged pioneer of podcast grifting and a former attempted standup comedian. Melton has been alogging STMS for the last year and he was somewhat orbiting the “dabbleverse” since then.

I don’t fuckin know man, I just check out NLO for the Steel Toe alog content, I don’t give a shit about who Kevin Brennan or Geno Bisconte are.

EDIT: Mike David/Redbar is also another tangentially-related “dabbleverse” guy who has his own thread on here. Him and Melton got into it a while ago and apparently Redbar “stole all of Meltons lolcows” and sometime after that, Redbar and Melton called a truce and they don’t go after eachother anymore. This is a good reason why a few weeks ago Melton was seething about PPP + Warski taking credit for April quitting Steel Toe after covering the hot tub + bikini stream incidents. Melton was mildly seething and was just incensed that he’d been covering STMS/Aaron for months to that point and then two Canadian retards come barreling in going “WHOOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHH BUDDY…ASH…A-A-ASH…DID WE MAKE HIS WIFE…QUIT THE SHOW?!?
