Great writeup on the Worm situation
@Balldo's Gate . Definitely important context to have before people start leaping to his defense.
For what it's worth, which I admit isn't much, I liked the guy when he was around. He was a fun member of Gunt Chat and his pictures were funny. I don't want to be wishing ill will on the dude, but what he's doing right now makes no sense, and if taken at face value is just really shitty.
I can understand having accounts completely unassociated with the Farms. I can even understand not wanting the fact that you browse the Farms to be public knowledge. There are insane and powerful people who want this place shut down and they'll go to disturbing lengths to get to any of its members, as we've seen from Trans Lifeline showing up at Null's house or the many, many lolsuits that tried to sue Farms members as John Does.
But doesn't it defeat the entire purpose of keeping separate identities when they're the same fucking identity, down to the name, profile picture and artwork being posted (before the name change on Kiwi Farms, anyway)? Dude wasn't hiding his Kiwi Farms background when he started his Twitter. He embraced it and then dropped it when he thought he could move up.
For me the line is drawn when the content you produce on those other accounts is functionally identical to, if not outright taken from, the Farms itself. At that point why even bother with hiding the fact that you browse the Farms? Plausible deniability? These dumb tranny faggots will use any connection to the Farms against people even when they don't exist, like in Caroline Farrow's case where they thought she was posting content to the Farms and used that against her. If you have any kind of social media presence and content you create comes from the Farms, don't hide the fact that you lurk when there's mountains of evidence that proves that you do. You're not fooling anyone and you only end up looking like a bitch.
What rubs me the wrong way about how Worm handled this is that this site needs friends. It needs people who can normalize browsing the site and freely discussing or sharing its content. Not just because that's the inherent nature of free speech, but because it makes it easier for messages that originate on the forum to get amplified to the right people. Things like 'these people torturing animals need to be charged' or 'this trans charity is a fraud' or even 'the Internet is in danger of being ruined because of well-connected, malicious people breaking shit in order to hide credible accusations of rape'. When people like Worm use the forum and its content to get their start and then don't speak up for it or pretend they weren't members, they're just enabling the people who are working to ruin the site.
All of this, and in the end, what was it for? $250 commissions from Turkey Tom? The esteemed privilege of being buddy-buddy with talentless, greasy wop faggot pedophiles like Vito on Xitter? This is what inspired Worm to pretend to be 'apolitical' in a social media landscape that does not allow you to be apolitical. Far be it from me to suggest anyone put a pricetag on their integrity, but fuck's sake, if you're gonna do it make it worth your while.
Nigger tossed away the good will of the one group of people who would've had his back so that he could watch loli with Vito. I hope he comes to his senses and that this mass tranny freakout over him is waking him up, but I ain't holding my breath.
