The thing I don't get about Tate is the sheer level of rage he inspires from male feminists and women.

Go back to 2006 and there were hundreds of guys like Tate, if you wanted to you could buy their books in bookstores and they advertised their services on daytime television.

Hey I had 2 very skilled girl healers in my WoW guild and we were quite good and sweaty. One was married too. Don't ask for how they looked cause I dunno. They were great players and since I am a dedicated egalitarian feminist, I immediately recruited them and put them on mana spending, tank topping duties.

I think it's to do with the setting. It's not so much that Taint is very crude and brazen, but that he's crude and brazen at a point in time that it's absolutely haram to dab on women.

That's why men have to be careful when they criticize him or it sounds like they're being white knight male feminists, which is far worse than being a misogynistic PUA.

This. My favorite was a friend of mine who swore she was just such a gamer girl. She had a library of I shit you not hundreds of games. Majority still in their packages. She never played any of them. She's never finished any of them. She just liked being a gamer gurl.

First of all if PUAs make you think the West has fallen you're probably a little bit of a retard considering those guys are far more based than anyone else currently on TV right now and even back then. You don't have to suck their dicks or anything but I'd rather take dating advice from them than some feminist clown. Plus, history has shown that they've been right about pretty much everything despite being mocked and hated for their entire existence.

Second, he's talking about a TV show that was on VH1 in the early 00s featuring a prominent pick up artist who went by the name Mystery. It was the same era as the Ali G Show and Pimp My Ride. It wasn't a very serious show and his schtick was more of a gimmick than it was offensive. He was ahead of the curve for triggering dykes and libs which is a notable achievement and makes him a type of pioneer. I don't remember it that clearly because I was a child, and I wouldn't be surprised to find out he was Jewish (he was on TV after all), but still.

yeah I hear from friends who got into teaching that a lot of the middle and high schoolers are super into tate but apparently it mostly comes out with acting a little cringe and an interest in chess. Hopefully most of them grow out of it or temper it with wisdom and practicality at some level but that remains to be seen I guess.

And the one guy was pretty obviously trolling, with blog posts like "How to tell if the 'girl' you just fucked was a post-op transsexual"
