It's more widespread than just youtube. When blocked and reported did its episodes on Keffals/DropKiwiFarms Jesse refused to name it, but also acknowledged that a good chunk of the audience would naturally know what site it was. People on Twitter have been talking about it with the same if you know you know wink and nod. Destiny's manifesto had a short section about not wanting to explicitly name it. And of course all the drama youtubers from day 0 until today still do this. It just seems strange because almost always a good chunk of the audience/readers know anyway, and anytime it's discussed people just ask about it and are quickly answered. It just seems very weird to act like doxbin is going to appear behind you and murder you if you say its name into the mirror or whatever.
