You know I just realized something today, Emily is more stubborn than a cat and dumber than a bird. I say this because I will occasionally reinforce tricks for my cats (simple shit like calling them from the yard, "get down", "leave it". Yes you can teach cats this, it just takes 2 weeks minimum and they're stubborn)
After that, I watched my finches attempting to take a paper bag over 100x their size to their nest.
The difference is the finches (eventually) realized it was pointless.
If you need an idea for how stupid a finch is, they were confused that they literally flattened one of their own fledglings because all 4 crammed in the nest at the same time while trying to overfeed it.
