Don't let it get to you. His reputation is shit and his only notable contribution to the tech industry is being an untrustworthy crybully. His back is cracking and body is failing from years of pharmaceuticals, he's a eunuch (i.e. genetic dead end) and estranged from his parents. His eyes are rotting out of their sockets.

Money and the drive to tear the internet apart around him are all he has left. Money is temporary and can't buy health and a healthy family life. As far as the internet, he's going to be remembered for damaging it while on a personal crusade. Outside of the turbo-woke SF tech scene, his career has no future.

Rate me optimistic, but I hope that this somehow catches the right attention of the right people who are not afraid to stand up to the faggots who try to ruin our Internet everyday and I hope that some good stuff comes out of this.

If Null hasn't done so already, I'd suggest tagging some of the more sympathetic journalists and/or podcasters out there, such as Jesse Singal and Sonia Poulton.

Time-poor normies and/or normie-adjacent people need to hear this rather than read it.

It's pretty poetic deal with the devil. You may get some money, but at the end of the day you will pay the price and (in this case literally) rot in hell.

Fuck it. If I can't do my usual TTRPG stream after Josh's stream tomorrow I will read out Josh's article on youtube so maybe it will be watched there.

The article talks about Hacker News comments "quoted in this article, that I am having trouble finding now on the live version of the site." As far as I can tell, the comment they're referring to is https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=21053930, which appears to have been edited years after it was posted (judging by Wayback Machine snapshots), along with one of the replies, to redact the name of the person involved.

Edit: And now this post is marked as a "dupe", even though it doesn't appear to have been posted on Hacker News before. Weird.
