A topic that I think more people disagree on then they think, give your opinions:
A Government should protect people from themselves or deter people from harm?
Most sane white people put themselves in everyone's shoes and will say "Yeah if I make stupid mistakes I got to learn from them." However they don't consider 10% of the population that will shoot themselves and then go complain to the government that they did nothing to help them, then 10,000 of the rest of that demographic will go out and riot because they don't feel like society cares about them.
Another example is gambling, there are millions of people kept in poverty because they engage in completely consentual gambling practices that ruin their lives and lineage.
So maybe give your perspective on this, then Josh could talk about it and his perspective on MATI.

I feel this most strongly with Louis Rossmann and FUTO. FUTO seems like the perfect anti-censorship organisation to network with but they don't seem interested in the Kiwi Farms. I don't know if it's just that nobody has asked them or if they genuinely don't want anything with us, even though in the long run they will fall should they not join.

This reminds me of this infamous shock video where a black girl is showing off a glock with a drum mag with her cousin and accidentally shoots him, then shoots herself afterwards. The video stays on and you just hear nogs screeching as they realize what happened. On the one hand it’s fucked what happened, but on the other hand the nog screeching was funny.

I think "dupe" is a flagging option that higher-level users get. You can always try to mail hn@ycombinator.com with a polite email and explain the issue and their admin "dang" will fix it up.@Null
