In high school there was this spergy edge lord who thought it was funny to bring up Boku no Pico because yeah, you're right, everyone goes through an " "adult" humor" phase where it simply can't be beat. This kid was so instant on bringing up Boku no Pico and the fact that Hitler won Time's Person of the Year once, that we started just calling him Pico De Gaillo, since homies and I all worked at Taco Bell at the time. Now we just refer to him as Pico when we talk about him lmao

It was a shock video in the same vein as 2girls1cup. Someone asks for Anime suggestions to watch and you tell them "Boku no Pico", maybe even send a link to it, they watch it and then are exposed to the horrors of gay shota hentai. The humor comes from you exposing someone to something shocking and disgusting and getting to see their reaction. That was the premise for Pewdiepie's video too, he was the victim and his friend (I think it was Jacksepticeye?) was the one showing him the content.
