Now that winged liner has lost its trendiness, she finally gives us a 9 minute tutorial. Had she done it ten years ago, she might have been onto something.

But, of course, she's not really into beauty or trends. She just wants to endlessly talk about herself.

It has always bothered the fuck out of me how the eyeliner on her lash-line is lower and thinner than her wing. They don't connect. Doesn't she notice? Probably not.

Also, winged eyeliner should be flat, not curved. Another pet peeve of mine.

She's definitely into trends imo, or at least tries to be. Same with norms and traditions. She has no sense of individuality and no thoughts of her own, so she just mimics and copies what everyone else is doing. It's exactly why she's "interested" in fashion and beauty in the first place imo. She knows make-up and dressing up is something girls are "supposed" to do based on a limited understanding of femininity, so of course she's all over that! Same with coffee. Adults drink coffee, so Kai "drinks" it too.

Kai's problem is that thanks to her simple-mindedness, small world and limited curiosity and interests, she's often late to picking up on trends and/or oblivious that they're no longer in style.
Since she doesn't hear/see much, she has a limited pool to pull from. This has been apparent from the start. Refer back to '07 when she was super into MAC just because xSparkage was, even though it was popular years before then. Leesha doesn't worship mac like she used to (at least from what I've seen; don't really follow her anymore,) so neither does Kai. I've noticed she never uses/mentions Mac these days.

I still wear winged eyeliner because I'm stuck in 2008. I wouldn't upload a tutorial since they've already been done well by hundreds of others. That's why Kai's tutorials are so boring to me. She has nothing new to teach or add. They're so unnecessary.

Her snapchat story makeup reminds me of that fat lady from The Drew Carey Show.

She's said this many times before. Guac's assessment is coming up to see if she truly is delayed due to neglect (that's not really what they're looking for, but the medical world isn't full of idiots and they'll know why Guac can't talk).
She just wants to let everything pass casually so no one asks about it.

Totally agree with you. And she goes on about how she puts Gracie to bed and she puts her down for her nap. Like, that's not all there is to being a mom. She doesn't do anything to inspire Gracie's mind. She doesn't do anything to encourage adventure and curiosity. She keeps her cooped up in that shitty, horrible house. She doesn't encourage intelligence or creativity and instead just dotes on how pretty Gracie is, or how cute her toenail polish is.

She's playing mommy, if anything.

I don't understand why someone would get Amazon Prime for such mundane things. If I had Prime, I would use that service for fancy-schmancy makeup, technology, cute clothes, and favorite books. Not nail files...you can just get those at the nearest drugstore!

If they find out she's neglecting her, what are the odds if them intervening? Where would she go?
