Anyone notice the influx of w*men that use their masters degree to win an argument? That video has reminded me of times when some w*man questioned my knowledge of something I know well and when I provided peer reviewed studied she instead brought up the fact she had a masters (she didn't say in what).

This is very common in the fat acceptance movement as they'll use their degree to say you can't question their statements that says all weight lose is bad, but I've seen it for other shit as well. They don't even brother saying anything besides they have a masters degree. As someone with a masters in applied math and stats one thing I've learned is to admit I'm wrong and to always learn.

Credentialism is getting rampant because entry level jobs demand work experience right out of college and many of them consider internships and going for your masters to count as work experience.
