That island wasn't abandoned and the comic is more pointing out the irony in the situation. I'm not going to be a nigger and say the British haven't earned the island, in fact they have the right to hold it, but it's more complex than simply "third world niggers think they own everything". He doesn't deserve to get dragged for shit.
Wrong kraut will always deserve to get dragged for his sexual attraction to Trout fish.

not Dubya. Zoomie alert.
Explaining the Bush years to a zoomie would be tough. "So people thought we went to war for oil, which was a bad thing at the time, because the VP had worked at Halliburton, which was super evil at the time. Green Day wrote an album about it and it was a big deal because it wasn't about poop. If you were pro war there was a flash game on Newgrounds where you could shoot ragheads in the oval office while chuckling and saying 'misunderestimate'. Also you could say raghead.'

Tbf, he'd probably be remember more if Bushisms didn't get completely outshone by Trumpisms. Many such cases.

I like how all of these are from the past 30 years and doesn't include people like Buchanan or Wilson.
FDR should be there as well. Motherfucker was responsible for popularizing and distributing Keynesianism to the rest of the world, which is Fascism Lite. At least in terms of economics. Not to mention how he was one of the most corrupt presidents based on the fact that he was ineligible for office in the first place and how he packed the court in 1937.

Also, the way he hated the Redcoats more than the Reds, being fully aware of what the commies were capable of, makes him the #1 worst US president from my perspective. We had to endure 40 years of commie bullshit because of him.

If I had 2 bullets and had FDR, Stalin and Hitler in a room, I would shoot FDR twice and pistol whip his corpse for good measure.

How was he not eligible to run in the first place, aside from him not having full-use of his legs?
That's pretty much it. It might not be a big deal to most, but I immediately distrust a politician that doesn't abide by the rules, since it's pretty much an indicator that they view themselves as above the law.

It might be a visceral reaction on my part, since in 2006, the then-PM Ferenc Gyurcsány admitted to his own party that they lied day and night, it got leaked and there were riots as well calling for his resignation. I view FDR the same way I view Gyurcsány: If he would've admitted wrongdoing openly and let his fate be decided by society (as in, whether he should resign or not), it would've been respectable. If FDR would've rolled out into the view of cameras on his wheelchair and admitted that he was a cripple outright, I wouldn't view him as a slimy scumbag either. I know, expecting a backbone from politicians is a pipe dream at best.

FDR going out in public in his wheelchair would've been the worst decision since America at that point wasn't exactly looking for someone that was seemingly weak when they needed a strong leader during a time of woe. To quote a Senator, "We're making the mother of all omelets here Jack, can't fret over every egg." which is probably a good way to view not just FDR but a lot of politicians throughout history.

Re: The FDR stuff, the worst thing about him was the court packing scandal. I really don't need to go into detail, but despite the fact his literal VP (John Nance Garner) was threatening the reign if he went ahead with court packing, FDR still won out in the end. The whole scheme was just because SCOTUS was shooting down all his shit as unconstitutional and abuises of executive power, and he only backed down because SCOTUS basically cucked and let him do whatever he wanted the rest of his terms.

Despite not getting to pack the courts with yesmen, he still was able to push through everything he wanted. Such a naked abuse of power and coercion from that cripple. I think I actually prefer Wilson to FDR even though he was just as bad pre-stroke.

Since Paleontologytube has been featured here (a long time ago though) I might as well show the latest video from ExtinctZoo (he's one of the good ones)
Look at the 3:56 mark

Something is missing but I can't quite figure it out. It's something on my tongue but probably not important.

Motherfucker
More like cousin fucker.

I had a very amusing thought recently. In my last post, I pointed out a channel with a video about the life of one Francis Yockey. Here's the video in case you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocT3JXyOjaY

His life is best described by the phrase: "a mild amount of tomfoolery". It's great biopic material. The Cold War period of his life alone is weird and exciting enough to be a captivating movie, if done well. Think Catch Me If You Can combined with A Beautiful Mind and a "who's who" of ex-Nazis and Western Rightists. You could even call it Imperium, what a title!

Now, this alone is, admittedly, not much. There are so many historical eccentrics that deserve biopics but never get one. So why do I bring it up?

Because I got the perfect man for the leading role. None other than Ryan Gosling. Literally me!

This sells it for me. The idea of Ryan Gosling playing Francis Yockey in a biopic is just hilarious. It would be on par with Tobey Maguire playing Bobby Fischer. It's something that needs to happen.

Unfortunately it won’t or, if it does, it won’t be done well. Hollywood doesn’t allow the mild amount of tomfoolery required for a proper Yockey biopic. It’s why we won’t have a Death Of Stalin equivalent for the Nazis, despite the mountain of material on Hitler’s inner circle (particularly from characters like Himmler) that one could write a black comedy off of.
