There was a vague part where he was talking about questioning Nick about taking something maybe two weekends in a row as to if it was dangerous to do that. But I couldn't figure out what he was talking about.
Most likely ecstasy or shrooms, both require a refractory period. Ecstasy in particular requires time to allow your brain to replace the serotonin and dopamine you’ve drained. The reason it makes you feel so good is because your brain is weeping serotonin and dopamine so it wont have the same effect if you take it again the next day. You need to give your brain time to replenish those reserves. Once a week is sort of the rule of thumb, because if you do it excessively you eventually lose the capacity for joy or pleasure. Doing ecstasy too often could cause you to develop Ecstasy-Induced Serotonin Syndrome. Meth and coke can be done every day at the expense of your tolerance, wallet and sleep schedule. After being awake for 3 or more days you start getting high off the sleep deprivation, you will start to hallucinate shadow people in your peripheral view and ramble about incoherent bullshit like Nick has been doing.

Steel Toe
I know everyones busy drinking Nick’s blood, but aaron is right about one thing. Nick definitely had the capacity to be somebody. But his trust fund income makes him free to be a tweaker without much consequence. Most rich kids amount to nothing, even if they have talent. Beyond the drug lesson, don’t let your children want for nothing. They need drive or they’ll become goalless nihilists like Nick.

I’ve never liked Aaron because he’s butt buddies with that creep Cumia (and it’s weird but AI sounds a lot like his idol). It would have been easy — and richly deserved — for him to point and laugh at Nick. But his response here seems very genuine and casts exactly the right lens on Nick’s behavior and attitude.

Instead of shitting all over him as an irredeemable POS, he repeatedly says that he knows that Nick at his best bears no resemblance to this ghoul. That rings true. Regardless of his asshole personality traits that have always been close to the surface, today Nick is sick as fuck and needs medical intervention if he’s to avoid premature death and causing even further trauma to his five children. AI’s comments conjure an image of the Rekieta kids bearing witness to shit no child should ever have to see. That’s more common than you might think, including in affluent families that may present as normal while under scrutiny of specific people in certain circumstances.

It sounds as if Aaron has been attending (in addition to the therapy he mentioned) Al-Anon meetings to cope with the fallout of having to deal with all of these active drug addicts — one of whom he was married to and parented children with. Good for him if so. It’s healthy for him to be focusing primarily on handling all this as best he can, rather than going on some revenge tour.

That said, failing a very unlikely turnaround I do think the Rekieta kids would be better off if their parents’ consistent prioritization of drugs and degeneracy over their children’s well-being resulted in their deaths. And the sooner the better. The longer this nightmare drags out, the older those kids will be before they can recover and move on from the trauma inflicted on them by their own parents (assuming they are ever able to do so). Some children of addicts don’t come to terms with that shit until they’re elderly, after a lifetime of turmoil and, often, indulging in the same destructing coping mechanisms their parents modeled for them.

TL;DR: Get help or get in the incinerators. There is no middle ground that ends well for anyone.

So I say through the entire MATI watch-a-long of that stream. Without a doubt this Nick’s worst stream, worse than Eric July, worse than Dear John, even worse than Ralph’s pill stream. This was genuinely horrible to the point that if I were him, I would never do another live stream again. I was against the idea at first, but now I’m convinced he will win Lolcow of the year again.

That said, after Josh mentioned that he seems really bitter about “hiring the best defamation attorney in the country and losing.” And while he definitely was bitter about it, there was another element that wasn’t brought up.
Despite always hiding the idea that he’s rich and always claiming that he doesn’t have a trust fund, and contending that there was no defamation… hiring a high end attorney like Randazza sure seems like something a rich trust fund kid who’s obviously guilty would do.

Like, come on Nick. You didn’t go for an attorney a typical father of 5 would afford. You went for the high end attorney despite your opponent being broke and allegedly frivolous. Like to me every aspect of Nick’s side of the case shows how rich and entitled he feels he is, and that makes him losing so much during it so much funnier and satisfying. I hate Montegraph, but I can't wait for him to win

I think social services getting involved would help a great deal. Would at least help snap Kayla out of her drug haze...I would hope.

New here, been lurking the last day or two, registered to say, yes, Aaron did address the jacking off 15 20 min into tonight's show, and also stepped around april being the corner demon, and very carefully talked about Kaela...... maybe not being in the house anymore, but it's been 6 or 7 weeks since he has been in the know.

Skimmed a bit of the Steel Toe show regarding Rekieta. Seems like there will be some juicy bits hidden within. Got it archived in case it goes down. Grabbed this bit I found interesting and is the one @Strix454 is mentioning

it's not a bit... Aaron is raw as could be having been 2nd divorced and reaping all he's sewn with his dipshitting. Never underestimate the insights of supreme losers. The striking parts of him recognizing Nick's abandon of any anchor, and Aaron acknowledging no adults in his life he listens to will push him on it. Pray for Nick that Bill Gates develops a cure for AIDS.

Nick thought people would admire him for that flex and that Monty would scurry away in fear. He’s got control issues we’ve barely mentioned in the face of all the addiction and degeneracy.

This is what happens when parents refuse to allow their children to experience the consequences of their poor choices and actions.
A very successful doctor I know told me his great-grandfather set up trust funds to benefit several generations of his descendants. Fortunately for him as a young man, the trustees weren’t pushovers and would only disburse payments as matching funds (e.g. when at age 18 he asked for $100k, they wouldn’t give him a dime until he had earned $100k on his own). Once he was a doctor and saw just how many of the absolute wrecks coming to him for treatment were alcoholic/addict trust funders, he never again touched his trust fund and has prevented his own children from accessing their own trusts until they are in their 40s. I’ve seen nothing ever — on KF or IRL — that makes me doubt he was 100% right in his approach.

And yes in all honesty, I'm a steel toe fan the last year or so as much as I was a fan of Nick 5 years ago. Found steel toe on rumble when Nick got unlistenable to, with a sloppy drunk, incoherent rants. Still trying to figure out some of the lore here that I missed out on, as I only had time at work to listen to a few shows a day.

It can always get worse.

As much of a pathetic degenerate he is if he quit drinking/coke today he could turn his life around. Compared to a fellow loser, Ethan Ralph, he's pretty well off.

-He's not divorced yet
-He's not lost the kids yet
 -
He's not a broke bitch yet
-He's not lost his entire audience  yet
-He's not been disbarred yet
-He's not been kicked out the family home yet

Ultimately Rekeita will probably be fine; he's a trust fund baby with a token career and a rich family who can afford to send off their embarrassment to rehab.
And he:
- hasn't been arrested for dui with his kids in the car and had his car impounded yet*
- hasn't wound up in jail overnight yet*
- doesn't have a breathalyzer wired to his ignition yet*
- hasn't been on house arrest yet*

*that we know of

All of the above are things I have seen happen to someone who sounded and acted just like Nick, minus the sexual adventuring; I mean the slurring and looping and memory lapses and incoherence and missed appointments and pinpoint eyes, etc. Spotted it the first time I was introduced to this wastrel. And he's way worse now than then.

Nick definitely had the capacity to be somebody.
🌈

What exactly did he have the capacity to be? He had years of purportedly "practicing law," and couldn't make a self-sustaining go of it. His prior positions pay somewhere above but not far north of $40k. Even doubling it doesn't buy a two houses even in bumfuck, mn, doesn't buy a dumb Mustang and a giant suv, doesn't buy banal art at charity auction, doesn't buy $36000/year of snacks. That wage with 5 kids won't even buy a replacement Balldo.

I made an account yesterday after hearing he lost his appeal but didn't get to post before this traitor completely melted down. I donated in the Vic days and this kike faggot deserves everything he gets. He betrayed us all and I hope he kills himself before he fucks his kids mentals up even more. I defended this faggot on twitter endlessly, and look at what he's become.

I hate to say it, but Lawtwitter fucking fun.
You’re getting too involved and personally investing too much into e-celebs bro you need to dial it back. You look like a total dweeb defending them on Twitter 24/7 and now you look like a psycho getting legit angry and wanting him to kill himself. You need to watch these e-celebs with a detached zen Buddhist mindset, they aren’t real people.
I was listening to Kino Casino and one of the superchats said that Aaron of Steel Toe implied that Our Wife is AWOL. I guess I'll have to listen to Steel Toe to confirm that.
watching his boring ass show is the only way to confirm because PPP, as funny as he is, just constantly straight up lies about everyone and everything ALL the time .

He's never sued the vast majority of people who talk shit about him, just people who falsely accuse him of being a literal child molester and child pornographer. If people believe that shit about you, your life is basically over.

If you want to assume he was at least well intentioned in the past, it's possible the Vic case broke him and turned him evil. I really think he was probably just covering for it better. He's admitted to having been a degenerate coomer porn addict his entire adult life, so the rot was already there. Maybe he just finally gave in to Satan after losing faith because of an injustice that was arguably at least partly his doing (although I never really bought the "negligent referral" nonsense and still don't).
Well, uh, fuck. Didn't mean to post anything but I fat-fingered on my phone, guess I'll pitch in to a late post. I don't really keep track of Nick too deeply (other than the Drunkstream), but I think that people like him make the conscious choice to "turn evil", it's not really something that happens naturally, or even something which is predisposed to an already rotten persona, so to speak. One could always stop at a certain action, to "go no farther" so to speak. It's difficult, yes, but it's possible. Nick, however, decided to go boldly into the path of the balldo. Now we see the consequences of that.

It's astonishing the level of cruel vitriol he spits in this stream. While the nonsensical nature of his string of words is the highlight, what he's actually making with the noose of non-sequitur is horrifically hateful. Obviously the disdain is internally projected, but he does so by making sure to state clearly that he see's every other person that isn't a white alcoholic Minnesotan swinger as a subhuman pile of garbage that is only befit for his fetishism or impotent wrath. Getting so fucked up he reads the same messages back to back unknowingly multiple times in multiple separate instances just enforces how self-inflicted this dreadfully disgraced downfall is.

I don't know how you recover from this. Especially when this is literally going to cost him tens of thousands of dollars. And he's doing his absolute best to drive away any possible good will people have for him.
