I loved this game as a kid and emulated it on my deck since I've gotten older, I still have the original and there's nothing Nintendo can do to stop that. If the localizers want to change shit in the remake I just won't play it, but when it comes to forcing a tranny in children's game when there wasn't one to begin with is just so fucking insidious. Parents are going to let their kids play it thinking it's just another Mario game.

Someone's probably posted a writeup for it, but I'll mention it here anyway, you can run the original game at 60 FPS natively in Dolphin.
I can't provide the ROM for obvious reasons, but it shouldn't be hard to find.

I have hopes that this modern version is easier to crack open and mod extensively. Forget dialogue patch, turn the entire game into a soup of "offensive" dialogue and images and have fun: Kiwi Farms and the Total Tranny Death.
