Because I was a Sterling Merit Student Finalist, I had a full scholarship for four years at the college of my choice. Not bragging, it just means I was smarter than you.

During my senior year in high school, I also won the Bausch & Lomb National Science Award for my work in Physics. Had I chosen to major in Physics at the University of Rochester, I would have received a full scholarship from them. I went with the Sterling Merit Scholarship because it offered more flexibility.

And since several of my friends were music majors, I know a great deal about how a School of Music works.
