First and foremost, this is an awful, traumatizing experience for the kids, especially since mom has apparently been complicit all along, and I think she has the worst-looking mugshot out of the three.

That aside, when it comes to our own entertainment, it sucks that we might not have farm content directly from drunk Nick ever again. Fortunately, however, he has plenty of Lawtube former friends he drove away who might now revel in following his new criminal case and relaying it as streaming content.

This is the perfect time to relay the information that the only proven treatment for narcissism is Transference-Focused Psychotherapy, created by Otto Kernberg and Frank Yeomans and a couple other people in a specialized clinic in NYC. It is an extremely intensive, hard to execute (as a therapist) treatment that only a handful of people are certified in. Because of the nature of the patients, TFP requires all patients to sign a contract at the beginning of treatment, stating things like how frequently they will come, and how they will be discharged if they do not meet those requirements or break the contract in some other way. Even then it obviously has a low success rate as NPD (and BPD) clients are notoriously unstable and hard to treat, and get more unstable as treatment goes on, since they put so much energy into their appearances to others. It is an extremely difficult therapy to execute because narcissists are very hateable, and (summarized very simply) the therapist needs to make perfect decisions on when to act in ways that are informed by that dislike for the client, and when not to. Do it too much and the client will never trust the therapist, do it too little and the client will never change. This is extremely dumbed down. I've read literally thousands of pages on this shit. Just about narcissism. It's not simple.

BPD has another treatment called Dialectical-Behavioral therapy, created by Marsha Linehan, an astonishing therapist who came up with the therapy to fix her personality disorder. It should be obvious from the people on this site how impressive that is. DBT however does not treat NPD.

Additionally difficult to treat are substance-use disorders. These have to be treated first before other therapies can be effectively done. Drug addicts are... special, so part of treatment for substance use disorders involves the most subtle manipulation therapists know of. An example of this is motivational interviewing. The basic jist is this. Internally we have reasons for doing something and reasons for not doing something. If the therapists mentions the reasons not to do something (drugs) the client will feel the need to voice the other part, the reasons to do that thing. So you invert it, tell the client all the reasons why doing drugs is good, and they'll feel compelled to name all the reasons not to do drugs, and identify with those more strongly now. Generally therapists choose to be much more transparent, as that's ideal for most people. But like I said, drug addicts are... special.

Now imagine treating substance use disorder and NPD. Yeah. Good fucking luck.

Josh better hope it wasn’t an idiot on the farm.
you're being silly. If Rekieta was arrested because he had coke and weapons on the property, then who's fault is this? KF? c'mon man, this is silliness
Nick is a father to 5 children, it is his responsibility to not have illegal drugs in house, particularly if he also keeps the weapons. If cops found the drugs so easily, then it's clearly because the drugs have not been even hidden away, which also means - children could've accessed them.
This is all on Nick, Kayla and April. It is their fucking fault, and it's just lucky that drugs have been found before children got hurt.
