If you are bothered by online insults, you are very fragile. Men should be confrontational and accept these occurrences as a challenge, a puzzle to be solved (yesis intentional).
Men indeed have to basically "prove" themselves, or they get dethroned from the top of the food chain. You don't "prove" for a woman. You simply maintain a hierarchy.

I think most folks that made the "why isn't the woman-hate thread a safe space too?" were making that point as a demonstration that the femcels were being treated with kid gloves, not because they actually wanted a second safe space on the board. And then Josh enforced the rule in the most passive-aggressive way possible, banning even the women that we generally like here, even after multiple people asked him to knock it off. The 'safe space' here has thus far been enforced haphazardly and purely out of spite for those that rightfully called out Josh's blatant hypocrisy, and I suspect it's only enforced at all so the femcels can have a titter about us having a hugbox, like that's not exactly what they do.

I agree with you but that doesn't change the fact that the internet, at large, doesn't operate the way you're describing and personally I'm tired of the annoying back and forths between women and "incels." I'm not trying to make a broad statement on the politics of Kiwi Farms either, I'm just saying it's nice to have a thread without annoying ass women and there's no reason to ruin it.

The fact that the author of the post was quite obviously taking the piss out of the site's more hysteric and hyper-"incel"-sensitive audience never occured to him. It's sad to say, but that should give you a strong inkling of where Joshua's mentality lies. I dare say the author clearly pushed some buttons which left anything close to a level-headed response to his trolling all but impossible for the ooperator of this site.

I've browsed this website since 2019, and can say with surety that its quality have plummeted with the infestation of TERF's. Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists are very useful in their agenda of rejecting transsexuality, but are of course wholly useless by virtue of being not only feminists, but radical feminists at that. Their hysterics, typical of feminist womenfolk, are barely contained in the Beauty Parlor. Indeed, it seeps out into the rest of the forum far too frequently.

From what I've been able to discern from Joshua's streams on MATI, he's rather feminine in his reasoning regarding gender roles. It's one thing to sternly reject the shenanigans of useless, grifting and arguably criminal disconiggers like Andrew Tate, and another entirely to embrace the womanly mindset of being offered a "good deal" in regards to dating and relationship (that this "good deal" is being requested by highly mediocre/low-value women and are nigh impossible for any man to offer, or that women are generally rampant hypocrites who don't even know what they want, and claim to want exactly that which they do not in an effort to instinctually shittest, are not ideas he'd like to ever entertain, it seems — I suppose that would make him too much of a "chud", as per the logic of hysterical women).

That which irks me the most is that the so-called "apolitical" women who gossip in their little Beauty Parlor are anything but apolitical. Every other post in that forsaken subforum is some sort of deeply autistic rambling about the ills of men, yet any other post with political sentiments which even remotely tangents on anything which rejects this notion is lowkey taboo? And by mentioning this discrepancy you're automatically labeled an "incel" or whatnot by the womenfolk and limpwristed men who browse this site? Absolutely ludicrous. The site is arguably not "apolitical", but is teeming with feminist hysteria which Joshua Moon apparently abides. Joshua is not a "conservative", "based" man, but rather someone who would welcome hysterical women with open arms if it means he gains a modicum of popularity amongst the "mainstream". It's all quite disappointing.

I was quite close to donating money to his litigation fund, but I'm very happy I didn't. Should he ban all of us who reject the most feminine, gossiping and feminist aspects of this site, of which he has declared himself being most approving of, then it's no skin off my back.

I like the balance the site has now between shit-posters, trolls, terfs, trannies, chuds, and the chronically sentimental. But I can understand how people who have been posting here for years miss when this place was more like some gay female gossip forum. I know a lot of the older users of the site hate the A&N section, I think Null hates it too but thinks of it as a containment board for us.

People keep wanting to ascribe the increased politicization of the site to some specific group or another, but I think it was pretty much an inevitability that this place was going to become far more political in nature.

1. The act of using the site itself became an inherently political act after the first time it was knocked offline in 2017 or so. Of course the site was less political back then, you weren't implicitly staking your flag in a particular camp by its usage. No one know who null was and it was just an off-the-beaten-path forum to discuss a humorous individual. Now null is The Final Boss of the Internet and the Kiwi Farms is the infamous murderdox forum that killed six million trannies behind an Arby's in 1993.

2. 2016 and its consequences. People becoming far more politically involved, the increase of censorship of any opinion not within the accepted margins, all of it. 2019 and Christchurch are commonly bandied about as the year of the /pol/ refugee, but I've heard some oldfags place the year closer to 2016 after Trump's election.

3. Lolcow burnout. People like to forget the standards for something worth talking about were a lot lower back then. In 2013 Chris made a Facebook post about McDonald's hot wings, and it inspired multiple pages of discussion. Now if Bossmanjack screams at the top of his lungs about riggers for only 30 seconds, we don't give a shit. There are a lot of legacy cows here like MovieBob and Linkara that would not be notable at all were it not for their longstanding following. With our standards for lolcows so high, of course people are going to take the easy dopamine rush that is yelling at retards about politics. I actually agree the Beauty Parlor is closer to Kiwi Farms Classic insofar as most of it is sitting on occasionally funny retards for weeks at a time and waiting for them to say something mildly amusing.

I don't disagree with that concern. At that point he'd be working against his own stated goals. He also needs to realize that the gay inter-forum drama is inconsequential and he needs to ignore it so that he can work on what's actually important. I know the entire point of his fight is to keep this small corner of the internet up but he also needs to agree to meet in the middle instead of constantly antagonizing people who might be of help to him. It is hypocritical of him to shit on the woman-hate thread because it's degrading to women while defending the man-hate thread because, for some reason, he thinks the women are only doing it as a reaction to the women-hate. The world can be a woman's utopia tomorrow with all the men enslaved, it won't change a thing in the TERFs minds.

A&H users also need to learn to not constantly be baited into unproductive sperging that just gets used against them by jannies.
