Most search engines are broken lately

I don't know what the fuck happened, but DDG doesn't work, Yahoo doesn't work, Bing doesn't work, Ecosia doesn't work, Startpage doesn't work, Mojeek doesn't work and those are every search engine I know of I don't know if even more affected.

The only search engines that work RN are Google, Brave Search and Yandex.

Someone made a comment earlier in the Windows AI Thunderdome thread about Google purposefully breaking in order to inflate the number of searches it can report. Wonder if that’s happening here

All the search engines this affected used Bing's API, so it's not impossible Microsoft got bribed, but we're entering conspiracy territory. Microsoft can't be that fucking stupid right?

Surprised this is controversial, search engines have been getting worse for years. Googles reverse image search is totally gutted, it doesn't return similar images, but instead things thematically related, i.e. a picture with a pine tree returns other pine trees, not other pictures from the public album the picture was origionally from.

Are people fucking retarded or can't they see this was about search engines LITERALLY BREAKING, not just being generally shitty? We all fucking know, but I know how to search for something that's not the fucking point. What this thread was about is they were sending out empty fucking pages and DDG even put out a message pointing out their search engine was bricked and were onto fixing it.

This was even posted on the same thread by someone else.

Search engines before Current Year searched for what you entered -- at least after advertising took over the early internet, that is.

Clown World search engines search for what the algorithm "thinks" you "meant to enter" -- with attempted "social engineering" likely.

For a long time now any attempt to search Islamic terrorism will yield a million results about anti-Islamic terrorism.

Edit: Used to be this was much higher up the list of results for "religion of peace." This was the website that redpilled me, way back in junior high, on Islam being fucked up.

I hate it when they don't take certain spelling as what you actually intended then go "Did you mean __". No I didn't. I spelled it that way for a fucking reason. Give me the results I want the first time.:mad:
