The whole "yeah sure they were living as a hyper-degen throuple and were so geeked out that they weren't able to perform basic human tasks despite having a grip of kids in the house, but if was Aaron who snitched on them he's the real loser!!!" has some real "Yeah Chris plowing his bed-ridden mom isn't good but that doesn't excuse disrespecting her pronouns!" energy

How come the professions that are most generally "well respected" are aways like this?
I was frequently revolted by the things that medical residents did at parties. The worst stories come from parties that psychiatry residents did. I hope that's only a cultural thing at my Country, but I believe it isn't.
Physicians are literally taught (OK, source is one surgeon I know who said so, ymmv) they are gods. And generally, both lawyers and doctors experience, as a profession, immense stress and tend to be used to thinking they are on the smarter end of any given room of people. At the same time, there is a huge halo effect to those professions, making it easy to feel invincible.

Hubris + poor self-management is a recipe for dependencies/copes, which often go very wrong.

Oop, I re-looked, and you're right; thank you for the correction! Skimmed too fast. That does suggest more of a home arrest scenario possibility. But if so, then/still interesting April was charged with possession. As a mere guest in the home, stuff just being "around" wouldn't necessarily have resulted in her arrest, though it could. Or maybe they just arrested all present adults and figured sort it later. But being arrested and booked for that offense isn't usually so simple as "was an adult staying in a house where drugs existed"...but there is a lot of leeway.

Thing is, if at home either a) the police had a warrant, which requires a sworn affidavit from LE that a just finds outlines probable cause, b) consent to enter and search was given, c) consent to enter was given and behavior constituted "exigent circumstances" warranting a search, d) consent to enter was not given but behavior constituted exigent circumstances, or e) drugs were in plain view with or without entry.

A basic welfare check doesn't automatically give rise to the right to search...but they will look around, ask questions, press. ...if only a non-coked-up lawyer lived there.

In any case, 5th degree is the lowest degree. Funny, though, that 5th degree possession is, like Chris Chan's actual arrest charge, a "wobble" crime, which could be charged as a felony or gross misdemeanor, depending on circumstances (and of course prosecuted depending on discretion and/or negotiation).

Most often, esp for a first-time offender, wobbles for drugs are going to go down. So expect to see the gun charges go away and the possession charges to be max a gross misdemeanor and, even if proven or pleaded, to result in minimal punishment.

Imagine laughing at your 'friend' getting a felony arrest as part of your 'comedy' show, whilst he's still in prison. Whilst you've encouraged and enabled his substance abuse.
It says a lot about what a subhuman, backstabbing Judas piece of shit Daxipad is that he was literally still goading Nick on to his self-destruction and the instant Nemesis came for Nick, he was right there snaking on him.

What a foul little worm. I hope he gets his own Nemesis.

I can't get over how angry, pathetic and a little sad Nicky looks. He is giving the same emotion as someone who has to fix something their dog broke.
It's perfect and exactly who he's revealed himself to truly be. His annoyed expression is as if he feels that this whole incarceration and prison thing is insisting itself on him. He's a fucking rockstar with two babes by his side, loads of dope to get off on, and a nest egg (that isn't his) to burn through! What authority has the right to bring him back down to planet Earth?

Kayla just looks like the typical broken and burnt-out crackwhore. I can't be anything but acerbic in saying it like that. That exact vacant and glassy stare is so commonplace, it's archetypical. Congrats, Nick. Through drugs and the power of the Balldo, you have broken the mind of your [supposed] high school sweetheart.

We don't know there was a warrant. There may have been exigent circumstances, either from a swatting or from actually legitimately deranged behavior from Balldo.
I’m just guessing there was a warrant or some form of an open investigation. Exigent Circumstances generally throw up some radio chatter. And good ol’ Sovcit lolyer Nick didn’t look like he’d been tased and beaten by the cops in his mug shot. Which makes me suspect somebody handed him a piece of paper to shut him up step one. Also 10:30 am? So figure 10 am or so knock on the door. That sounds and feels like a crew headed out straight from morning briefing, with a stop for coffee, or was working a too do list.

It ain’t prison, it’s county holding, no raping you maniac. He will have to try to sleep through the screams and howls and moans of a couple of junkies. He’ll be fine,

Addicts should lose their citizenship and human rights.
Give ‘em a raft and a shove towards Cuba.

I know that he'll get his either way, but it doesn't stop me from wanting to just knock the shit out of him.

One possibility I haven't seen discussed Balldos oldest son is like 16 or 17 what if he gave the old man a shiner when he was getting high/drunk and violent
the got arrested at like 10 Am I can totally see them going on a bender all night and getting into a drug fueled fucking rage
One possibility that got mentioned on Sean's stream is that it could've been one of the kids who finally got fed up and called the cops.
We're just going to have to wait and see.
