I am skeptical that there are any actual women in their mid 30's sitting around playing D & D.

Hi. I'm a true and honest woman, and in my 30s I did play both D&D and Shadowrun. I no longer play, but that's because I don't have the social group to do so. I still play MMOs almost exclusively on the computer, I have over 15 years in Lord of the Rings Online, and three years in Elder Scrolls Online. Both of which I subscribe to. I have several true and honest female friends who also play MMOs. I got into LOTRO because of a female friend.

I don't doubt for a moment that Tony's group doesn't include any women, because we're pretty rare, but we do exist.

He is too fucking stupid to wrap his head around the idea that trooned out uniforms at non-work related events creates a huge government speech problem and a viewpoint discrimination problem.
Troons don't understand that rules apply to them too because they've been very deliberately treated with troon gloves and not had rules enforced against them that apply to everyone else.

Tony: There are more troons now because they are overwhelmingly accepted.

Also Tony: Troonery has been banned in over half the country because of hate for troons.

Which is it Snaggle Tooth?
I think Tony's argument would be that places like California and New York having high rates of acceptance leads to more kids coming out in those states whereas he'll argue other states like Florida have a "trans genocide". Nevermind he has never once pulled the "I got calls from concerned parents that their trans kids are contemplating suicide because of these bans." and neither I herd anything in the news of kids killing themselves because they couldn't get this "life saving care".
"Killed the Cass Review's credibility"

Not a single person in Tony's list of "journalists" is actually a journalist.

"Killed the Cass Review" literally Tony's entire argument in his article was "These outdated studies show "gender affirming care" saves lives" and he keeps repeating the appeal to authority argument "Every major medical group supports transitioning". as if the science can never change. Some debunking

Also Tony: Troons have been accepted throughout history all over the world and every important person was trans.

Reminds me of that interview where the (troon) interviewer expressed surprise that Tony and Zac were into nerd hobbies. YES HOW SURPRISING THAT TWO WOMEN SHOULD BE INTO STEREOTYPICALLY MALE THINGS.

It’s such an echo chamber. “Well done, everyone, we have utterly destroyed the Cass Review.” Meanwhile in the real world…

That’s before we’ve got on to the notion that this was some kind of intricate and painstaking research effort. It was a bunch of amateurs deliberately seeking a particular outcome, ignoring anything that didn’t support that outcome. It’s like saying “We proved the Earth is flat” because you ignored everything that wasn’t an ancient map.

Because troonery is pseudoscience wherever it occurs.

If this is a real BMJ article, I'm more disappointed in the BMJ than concerned with Tony's bleating about whatever he's on about.

Like sure, I guess the Cass review hasn't overthrown current US practices regarding transitioning minors, but it never was supposed to. It was a specific critique of UK NHS practices. It doesn't immediately have any legal or regulatory influence in the US.

What it will do (I'm fairly certain) is have a huge influence in the political discourse around this issue.

I mean, Hilary Cass was interviewed on goddamn NPR, for fucks sake. I'm amazed some dangerhaired interns didn't storm the recording room and shut that interview down.

I don't think this is the last we've heard of the Cass review in the US. Not by a long shot.

I agree. In fact, I would wager that the Cass Review has caused major hearburn for troon lawyer, Kate Strangio, whose entire argument against bans is premised on the "life saving, safe, and effective" claims, all of which were shot to shit by Cass.

"Not open to debate!"

Why? Because a scientifically illiterate gap toothed cross dressing retard with a fan faction blog says so?

FACT CHECK #FALSE

Although there was plenty of bluster and empty rhetoric, he conceded Cass's findings by implication when he ordered his own similar review.

Under the new policy, transgender female athletes will only be permitted to participate in the female category of an event, or as a female athlete in the mixed category of an event, if:
• They have not undergone male puberty;
This is a very bad policy and will only encourage child abuse. Men simply should not be allowed in women's events.

If this is a real BMJ article, I'm more disappointed in the BMJ
The op-ed in question, written by a certain Jennifer Block who just lists herself as a "freelance journalist", not even an "award-winning journalist" like Tony.

Tony says filing false police reports makes you one of the good guys.

Utah bathroom monitor bill gets funny reaction from State Auditor.
Have I been following the Rekieta drama too closely or does Tony have a black eye?

If these are just his normal eye bags having a bad day that’s one thing but why is one so much darker than the other?

He’s been looking like all around lukewarm dog shit lately. Shouldn’t he be doing Bridal Boot Camp or something for his wedding glow up?

Well, he *is* a felon, after all. Not like he has a history of respecting the law, KWIM?

He's too lazy to get that stupid gap in his teeth fixed, or take care of his hair. He probably half-assed his concealer under his eyes, which is why one of his dark circles is more visible than the other.

If it's too much for him to do basic upkeep when he knows he's going to be on camera, do you really think Thunder Thighs Tony is going to do a "Bridal Boot Camp"?

Why would people pay attention to field developments in other countries? Are you sure you want to be a science reporter, Evan? Or like, a person living in the 21st Century?

Why? Because a scientifically illiterate gap toothed cross dressing retard with a fan faction blog says so?

Everything is a clear slur at this point.

Also, Tony, that's a headline. Ben Ryan did not write that.

Troons hate the term "trans-identified", because it's followed up with what they really are (male/female), instead of what they wish they were but can never be (trans man/ trans woman).

Tony probably never even took a high school journalism class, so he wouldn't know that reporters and columnists don't generally write the headlines. He thinks a newspaper is just like a big blog.
