Nick lives in a essentially a compound out in the middle of nowhere and has to have at least some knowledge of what/how much of a certain drug you can have in what ways for it to not be a certain degree of charge/felony. He's obviously not smart enough to only have a misdemeanor amount a once, but even if he was insisting on hoarding a large amount you'd think he'd use a single foot of that mountain space available in that backyard and burying the nest egg in some canister or something and only go to it as needed. Even more so when he knows degenerates such as the Internet are watching him like a hawk. Could have at least saved him from having the felon cuck label put on him.
I wouldn't be so quick to rule out that he's got more drugs stashed somewhere on his property, but I don't think we'll find out unless he gets busted/does another pillstream.

Those drugs aren't necessarily illegal in the contexts some of us have used them, we aren't condoning their use by divulging our experiences in a context where that information is relevant, we didn't leave those drugs laying around near children or hidden in a friend's couch where their children play, and we weren't faggy retarded straight-laced "Christian conservative family men" who wouldn't even say "damn" a couple years ago.

Nuance.
Yeah yeah, drugs are ok if you're an island. Who is an island though? I think the most outraged people on here are probably the biggest drug users. Just like Nick.

I agree with you. I'm not disputing that.

That said, the drugs appear to have been the driving impetus behind the search warrant. If the entry was obtained improperly (aka any evidence is via "fruit of the poisonous tree") then the police have no drugs. If they have no drugs then they have no aggravating firearm charge. Hell, they may not even have a messy house to make negligence stick.
My best guess of what happened is that the pastor saw Nick coked out his mind with his kids in tow.

When the mandatory reporter reports a Child Endangerment via DUI, the police are going to search the house for drugs.

He could have avoided this downfall by simply getting some adderall like substance prescribed, but he literally picked one of the worst and most destructive stimulants to use daily.
Dude Adderall is mixed amphetamine salts and just as destructive. It's basically meth without the methyl group.

It's the number #5 most prescribed drug and in 20 years there's going to be a reckoning.

Take enough Adderall and you'll ruin your sleep, burn out your dopamine neurons, permanently fuck up your mood, and skyrocket your risk of Parkinson's disease.

Adderall is just as addictive and destructive as cocaine. It just comes in a pill.

I just want to point out how fucking useless April and Kayla are as accomplices.

Nick is outside refuses to give the door code, your daughter has already talked to the cops so you know they're there.

You had one fucking job. FLUSH THAT SHIT!

He had 2 days after pill stream, he shoulda flushed it all during that time. His high ass shoulda known he was at risk for getting busted after that stream.

No. Reading the charging documents, the course of events is as follows.

1. Police knock on the door demanding entry,.

2. Minor child answers door, telling officers they cannot enter.

3. Rekieta is detained by police while driving.

4. Rekieta is marched up to the property and ordered to open the premises.

5. Rekieta refuses.

6. Battering ram is applied.

7.. Police enter the property, find the children, Kayla and April.

8. Angry Rekieta angrily screeches to the Police "where is your warrant!?!"

9. Police shove warrant into rekeitas face as they muscle into the property and start tossing shit. Guarantee the small children are crying.

10. Rekieta angrily throws the warrant on the ground.

Also, someone HAS to get the bodycam footage of this if it exists.
Apologies if this has been addressed, but I don't believe this is accurate.

Assuming description of events is chronological as written, they doorbashed before Rekieta was brought home.

When they were initially denied entry, the guys on scene likely radioed the cops holding Nick and asked for the code that he refused to give. So they bashed. Soon thereafter the cop transporting Nick pulled up, warrant demanded, discarded, etc.

What's up with cops with a valid warrant allowing a "juvenile female" to close the door in their face after initially opening it anyway?

And after seeing the Zillow, unless Nick made some changes, that front door had a huge window in the middle and was immediately flanked by two long vertical windows. smashyshatter.wav.

How long do we have to wait to see the actual warrant? Should we assume they deliberately waited for Nick to leave the house before knocking?

He's at 26 and change, the cutoff for the level he's charged at. 2 to 3 grams is a world of difference here. He needs what, 1.75 or so?

Probably, but I need a little more than "because I say so"

Edit :I've got two copies of the thread open apparently and was looking at an old one. This has been addressed hard already, sorry.
25g is the cut off for a first degree felony, but to be fair, the baggies are really small and light. I just tried to weigh a little baggy similar to what a coke bag looks like (but it's a bit bigger cause it's for body jewelry) on my gram scale and it couldn't even register it. I genuinely don't think the combined weight of the plastic would even be 2g. I was just throwing out a number and even if it did end up weighing 2g, do you honestly think the court would reduce his sentence over .4g? I mean they could probably just assume if they scraped all the shit with residue on it, it would cover that weight. They said there was a bullet and bullets can hold at least a g, though they didn't specify what if anything was in it. I mean, I suppose he could try this argument in court but it's reeeally splitting hairs.

wat
what if police would improperly obtained the entry and find a body? would they be like "aw shoot we should've waited ten more minutes, now we have to go back home and pretend we didn't see this obvious evidence of crime, thems the rules" ?

Every kiwi is an illegal drug user it seems, from pot to ketamine to coke, all of it. Then they go 'omg this guy got caught', while they all do it all the time. What can really be said of that? I mean most kiwis won't have kids so not quite as bad, so that's not as bad?

I know this will get flags, people hate their mirrors.
The difference is most of us haven't made a lifestyle out of hard drugs and kinky communal sex while LARPing as a moral beacon online for half a decade.

Most of us also aren't a part of the bar, and haven't represented druggies in similar situations that we could learn from prior to our disgraceful arrests.

I'm sober you massive retard. Hard for sober people to share their expierence with drugs.

You're forgetting the plain sight exception if there's anything visible when police did get inside, the inevitable discovery exception if someone (hood g/f) provides similar paths to the evidence, and the good faith exception if there's only minor issues with the collection of the evidence.

I've learned so much in the last 24 hours.

Here's a banger from another famous lolcow:
You will not be able to say, really, that drugs are bad, these people will still defend weed and others. Oh well. That's the online mentality, most are into some drugs and are into the Nick realm themselves as far as this goes. Lots of 'don't do drugs kids' jokes, well...

No, you're wrong. The entire reason for the fucking warrant was the pastor raising the issue of child abuse.

If the entry was obtained improperly
They had a warrant. They knocked and announced, the owner of the home told them to eat shit, so they booted the door.
