It's fucking shocking to me how many of you want to deny the agency of either Nick or Kayla (or even April) in this. Both of them are grown fucking adults, both of them fully had the ability to say no. Nobody put a gun to anybody's head and forced them to do cocaine or ketamine or get blackout drunk, and even if somebody did do that nobody forced them to stay afterward. There are always an infinite amount of ways to try to rationalize that somebody had no choice to do something fucking stupid in a situation and all of them are copes when we are talking about grown adults in the first world blowing their own lives up with drugs and alcohol. Addiction is not an excuse. Personality disorders are not an excuse. Explanations are not excuses.
In Kayla's case, she could have easily left for the sake of the children and taken Nick's stupid drug addict ass for everything he had in a courtroom and she knew it because every woman knows she can do that in 2024 no I don't care if she was raised by Christians or whatever. In Nick's case, he could easily have just said no and even if he had to go through an expensive divorce with a drug addict he is from a wealthy family and his livelihood would never have been in jeopardy. In April's case, well, lol. The list of things that she could have done to avoid what's going on in her life right now is so long that if I enumerated it here this post would be a page long.
Every single adult here is a failure of a human being, and they are all 100% at fault for it. It's not 50/50, it's not 33/33/33, it's straight 100s across the board. For you radfems, that's what equality means. For you trad larpers, not only does God say this but the law does as well. For the cucks and simps and all other associated morons, stop trying to find good guys and bad guys in a situation with only bad guys. Not every story is a Hollywood movie or a TV show where you are supposed to empathize with the characters.
