The sores are pretty unmistakable in relation to mosquito bites. I know nobody here is seriously as delusional as the Locals user who said this shit, but unless you are severely allergic, mosquito bites would not get close to the level of druggie sores.

There are different variants of sores, some plague injection sites while others come from skin irritation, cell death from toxins in the drug, inflammation or nervous withdrawal ticks where you literally pick your skin.

In Nick’s case I’d take a guess at him having Meth sores and scabs. It’s extremely common and I am sure even if some of you have no interest in drug culture or live in a heavy narco area, you could spot a meth face from a crowd.

They usually get these sores from picking at their skin and then picking at the scabs over and over as nervous ticks, but they can also come from sweat. Sweat often contain the toxins that are in Meth, since Meth is water based. It then irritates the skin and causes sores. There is also Meth bugs where the user hallucinates small bugs and pick at their skin to get them away (more common than you think). There is something I’m forgetting about blood flow and immune system too, but yeah, you know these sores when you see them. Unmistakable in context of a drug user.

TLDR: unless you have a large mosquito that likes to tear at your scabs, it ain’t mosquitos.
