Even if they could/would charge a kid for drug crimes, it wouldn't be public knowledge and their identities would be shielded. If a parent knew they did this, could it be coded as "physical abuse" in the system, like the difference between causing a kid to be around drugs and allowing them to use?

Something isn't adding up with Kayla's charge of "child neglect - knowingly permitting physical/sexual." The factual basis for the charge in Kayla's complaint is identical to what's in Nick's complaint (kids around drugs), only the code section is different.

There are two possibilities:

1. The different charge was accidental, a typo. Kayla was supposed to be charged the same as Nick but Kayla's complaint has the wrong code subsection. They meant to charge both under Nick's code section but screwed up Kayla's.

2. The different charge is legit and they accidentally copied the factual basis for Nick's charge into Kayla's. The real factual basis for Kayla's charge was mistakenly omitted.

My money is on typo. They intended to charge both under the same code section using the same factual basis but someone screwed up Kayla's code section. If Kayla knowingly permitted someone to physically/sexually abuse the kid(s), then you'd assume that person would be charged with the actual physical/sexual abuse, which obviously hasn't happened.

I think while he was fucking the side hoe, maybe she got pissed off and slapped the children or some shit. She might have "only" cuffed them upside the head while high on coke. Hit, shoved, slapped ect.
