I'm not surprised though, he appeared on the Dankstream a couple of times at the height of
Liamania when the ginger goblin was attacking Von for something or other back in the summer(?) of 2023. Once we started covering stuff that wasn't CG's dirty laundry, Von disappeared.
A lot of these guys didn't notice when CG's walls closed it off to the rest of the world in 2021. That's when the circular firing squad took root and became the central driving entertainment in Comicsgate. Growth stagnated as you needed more thand more lore to understand the current climate in CG. The threshold of entry flew over the top of most people's heads because you needed 4 years of history to understand why anyone was or wasn't working with someone else.
Meanwhile, the Frentubers and Eric July appeal to a mass audience.
