I was referencing the document from earlier in the thread where the number is 609.378. 1(a) but I think you are correct and I have misinterpreted it. So I guess bets back on for physical abuse.
I wish there was a way to stick the documents somehow.

No worries, I hate how they write these statutes and the codes for them and wholly understand how easy it is to misread. I had to double triple 10x check it out myself to make sure I wasn't misreading it.

I've been listening to Jim's stream while driving for hours today. The one thing that stands out is Nick really is a mean bad tempered and unhinged drunk. He has absolutely no mental filters. I find it easy to believe there is a violent component to it.

In fact that might play into that strange charge against Kayla?

I think any deal offered to him will involve giving up his dealer. With the quantities he had, this guy deals with a major dealer. He better be getting his house on the market and finding a new place to live.
