People are jumping on the gun charges being "unconstitutional" but what part of the child neglect and drug charges are unconstitutional? Something tells me the gun charges are the ones most likely to be dropped in a plea deal (I could be wrong about this).

I have to wonder if the initial abuse/neglect report had something to do with firearms, which is why they went looking for them.

Legal Mindset is talking more about how the warrant actually matters and can get thrown out and go "scott free."

One important thing is that there are two parallel legal actions going on now. You have the drug/gun charges but also the kids. You can have the drug charges thrown out and that doesn't mean Nick gets his kids back and gets to pretend like he was exonerated.

It'll be difficult for Nick to say he did nothing wrong if he and Kayla still don't have their kids back 6 months later.

And then you have to assume Nick is going to stay sober and not get in trouble again when he doesn't have kid obligations to worry about during that time period.

I agree with him regarding the fan fiction part.
There's an obvious problem though. Back when Hedonism II was discovered, we produced our fair share of outlandish theories. We joked about Balldo doing narcotics and whisky causing him erection issues, culminating to his worst day ever. We speculated about his swinging, hedonism, adultery and more. This was all brushed off as dumb fun and gay forum gossip.

Guess what.
We were right on all of it.

This thread has shown the greatest restraint ever on the site for any thread with above 200 fucking pages, let alone 4500+ now. None of the regulars here were full-on Balldo haters. We'd post dumb shit but most secretly hoped he can pull up or at least wished his kids to be safe. Any other lolcow who defends people like Vaedophile and Juju would have been called a nonce shield by now.

Legal Mindset is noseguarding, but he's also correct. If Nick can somehow get the search warrant thrown out then all of the evidence that the cops found in the house goes up in smoke.

I'm willing to bet the cops aren't fuckups though. There was a week between the complaint and the raid. They must have had something concrete to get the judge to sign the warrant.

Digging Legal's stream. He's probably been the most objective and professional in all of this. And he's pointing out that if the warrant wasn't properly done the whole case could get thrown out. Which happens all the time in court cases.

Hopefully that doesn't end up happening here, and I have a feeling that it won't. Do we even know for sure that their pastor was the one that reported what was going?

While it may look like nose-guarding, Andrew and Nick had a VERY BAD falling out. I think he's trying to stay neutral to not lose the Nick crowd and not piss off Kiwi.
