I took a minute to reexamine their mugshots, paying special attention to distinctions.
They all look like they have at least showered recently, and none of them would look out of place on my county jail's inmate roster, but:
April just looks sad. Her hair seems OK, she doesn't look skeletonized, and there are no apparent facial injuries. She literally just looks sad, like some teenager who just caught a charge for a DUI or for something they knew mom warned them against. Her eyes aren't completely vacant and can still display some emotion, or soul.
Now Rackets, of course, looks super indignant, and almost like he's trying to front as an actual tough guy. Huge Tomlinson energy. Aside from the black eye though, he looks far healthier than he has on a livestream in forever; he probably has the filter from the shitty jail camera to thank. His hair and beard aren't disheveled. He looks tired. All in all, he definitely has the air of someone who thinks he's somehow better than you despite being trailer trash and he's done nothing wrong, prude child.
Kayla looks the most busted by far. Her face is positively sunken but could be worse I guess. Her choice of outfit hides a tattoo that looks like a bloody bite mark and was probably better suited to a different part of her body. We see disheveled hair, a downturned mouth, and slight sanpaku eyes. She's definitely rocking the druggie phenotype that usually takes druggies several years to develop. As a positive, her hair has at least been recently colored or she does not need to color her roots yet.
But, regardless of their differences and similarities, their smile and optimism? GONE.
