I think you pretty much nailed what we can expect. I've spent way too much time watching this guy's streams and videos, and this guy really is not intelligent at all. He's honest about it, but still. This is giving Kayla too much credit, but I suspect she knows on some level that Nick acting as her defense gives him a significant amount of leverage over her, even if he was actually a good lawyer and could successfully argue for a lighter sentence. Their marriage is already strained enough by the swinging and cuckholdry that such an arrangement could only end in divorce (well, jail time for sure, but divorce would also likely follow).
