Lead Attorney just finished a livestream covering Nick Rekieta’s arrest.

For those unfamiliar, Lead is a divorce attorney that mainly covers legal and relationship issues within the Black community. He is outside of Lawtube and has a very shallow understanding of Nick’s flameout and the months-long decline that have made his drug abuse and nasty, selfish, vindictive personality obvious to all observers. His shows are stream-of-consciousness, have no real schedule for topics and are frequently interrupted by superchats and anecdotes so I can’t be assed to clip any of his comments right now, but his main takeaways were this:

  • Lead is Black YouTube, not Lawtube. There are plenty of people who have a better understanding of what’s going on and his comments are going to be surface level based off of recent events.
  • Lead has a lot of respect for Nick. In his mind, Nick invented the format of streaming trials and is responsible for Lead’s meteoric rise as the lead commentator on legal issues within the Black community. He considers himself to be “the Black Nick Rekieta”. (He knows about Nate’s channel, but considers him to be more of a Lawtube content creator than a Black community one).
  • Lead is not concerned for the long term welfare of the children. He has served as a guardian ad litem for a number of years, and has dealt with the full range of child neglect and abuse cases that involve drugs. A family court is unlikely to take the issues presented in the arrest warrant and incident report seriously, and will almost certainly maintain custody of the children. All of this is assuming Nick will not continue to abuse cocaine and other drugs. “These kids will not be traumatized unless there are drugs involved” is more or less the quote. His understanding seems to be that the neglect has been going on for maybe a few weeks.
  • Lead has no idea how bad Nick’s drug problem is, if there is one. He has not seen him follow drug dealers, or his extremely erratic behavior, or the stream where he comes back with “powdered sugar” on his nose. He assumes there must be some misunderstanding if Nick is so vigorously denying everything.
  • “You can provide for your children adequately in an open marriage. You cannot provide for your children adequately while doing cocaine.”
  • THE BLACKS KNOW: Lead introduced his audience to the Sonichu medallion. He did not name it and seemed to confuse a joke on twitter as the source of the medallion’s evil power but correctly identified it as cursed.
  • Nick is ultimately responsible for his substance abuse issues but Aaron appears to be the one that introduced this chaos into his life. Lead is a bit surprised by this, and remarks that in his professional experience as a divorce attorney, men will enter into this lifestyle once they meet a woman.
  • The Lawtube group texts are a bad idea. Lead was slightly taken aback by Nick telling people who think he’s neglecting his kids to kill himself. He doesn’t know why Nick is so adamantly denying details laid out in the warrant and incident report, but is giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming he knows something everyone doesn’t instead of being a belligerent, lying retard.
  • Nick should speedrun this case and get the absolute minimum sentence possible and get help for his substance abuse issues. He is certain Nick can make a comeback if he earnestly apologizes for his actions, and checks himself into rehab.
  • Lead is open to criticism and is more than pleased to revise any of his assessments or statements if people are willing to show him he’s wrong. Taking Nick’s “kill yourself” comments as an example, he makes it a point never to get belligerent with his audience or detractors.
I can archive the video when I get home, although it is extremely long and probably not of great long term interest.

So, will Ty Beard save the day like he did for Vic?

Surely Ty wouldn't screw this case up. It's his good friends life on the line after all.
DAMMIT CASE, WE LOST THE NICK AGAIN!

Also nick is a little bitch; he could have been to Minneapolis and back and streaming with the crack whores dressed as slutty cops by now

Libertarian faggots may not like the current situation but without the government it would be a mob of groups concerned citizens with torches and pitchforks going to balldos house to string the motherfucker up. So Barnes, Dax and Vito the Pedo should be VERY thankful to the court system in this country right now that he's going to get a fair hearing.
The only way libertarianism can work is if there are strong non-state mechanisms for keeping the dark side of human nature in check through culture, religion, community, family, etc. Limited government worked so well in the USA because many Americans were “Scandinavian prudes” descended from religious, conservative, self-regulating European settler communities (as being a reckless degenerate asshole on the frontier would get you killed by bears/Indians/dysentery etc.)

Proponents of limited govt like Hoppe and Mises used to understand this, but the current crop of epic bacon gay marijuana farm lolberts like Nick don’t. Whether government is big or small, the hedonistic mindset of Rekietas will always be societal cancer.

Holy shit can we donate some of the leftover fund for the bodycam to Vic @Null ? Itd sting Balldo even more
Vic seems like he is washing his hands of this whole deal. Any money left over from getting the bodycam footage needs to be donated to a charity of some sort. My opinion is it should be donated to a Minnesota child abuse charity of some sort in Nick's name.

Either that, or to that church for doing God's work and reporting the child abuse.

I'm sure Vic would want that as well, he seems like a heckin wholesome guy (though admittedly I do not know him very much, but I'd say 95% of people would want to help out abused kids, or helping a church out that did God's work)

married couples enjoy special privileges that no other association enjoys
Bit of fun trivia: this principle actually helped (successfully) frustrate efforts to keep those ridiculous red light and speeding cameras legal in Florida. It eventually wound up in the Florida Supreme Court, which ruled they were unconstitutional as implemented, so the state tried to be clever to address the Court's main objection that they created a presumption of guilt and required the accused to prove their innocence.

To sidestep the issue, the state (who contracted to some shitty company that implements these things nationwide) changed how they issued citations when the cameras "caught" somebody. Now, instead of just being slapped with a ticket automatically, they'd send a "notice of violation" along with an "opportunity" to narc out someone else. You were free to claim you weren't the person driving the car at the time of the alleged offense, and the state would cheerfully accept this and not ticket you ... if you identified who was driving your car at the time.

Unfortunately for this scheme, as Null points out, married couples have some special privileges and protections. In particular, under Florida's constitution, no person can be compelled to testify against their spouse for any reason whatsoever. This protection is absolute; even things like the silence of the confessional, doctor-patient privilege and client-attorney privilege have exceptions, while this protection does not.

This created a unique situation for these stupid camera ops. If you ran a red light and the camera nicked you, and they sent you a "notice of violation," you could just tick the checkbox on the form saying "I was not operating this motor vehicle at the time of the alleged offence," and then on the back where you were expected to identify the real driver, you could invoke the marital privilege to refuse to testify against your spouse. This made the violations unenforceable, because they couldn't legally determine who was driving. Obviously it was your spouse, because that's the only person you could invoke that privilege about, but part of that privilege is that the government isn't allowed to impugn that and technically speaking you're not saying she was driving.

I'm sure they're wriggling in the legislature to find a way around it, but it's still fucking awesome.

according to Stein right now on Kino Casino, Vic Lasaña had to hire a PR team to tell him what to do regarding the whole Nick child abuser and drug addict situation, according to Stein, the PR team told Vic to distance himself and go silent

EDIT: apparently Nick has been fellating Vic on dms, probably trying to get him to his side to regain the old anime/nerd fanbase and support

Libertarianism should be an ethic and ties should go to the side where freedom is at stake.

But “full retard” doesn’t sound appealing.

Is there room for libertarians who believe drug dealers should be executed and addicts should be sentenced to labor camps to work off the debt of what they stole and what the state spent keeping them alive?

Don't know if this has been posted before, but if you look to the left, you will see Rackets furiously shaking his legs. (I wanted to zoom in but I have no idea how to do that).

Maybe I missed the post since this thread is growing fast right now, but is there a full unedited release of this footage somewhere? I'd like to comb through it for additional moments, like how he interacts with other members of his church, or how he interacts with his own family etc.
