this stream has been the greatest cooking disaster ever.
Uruka has spent like the past 10 minutes painting the nails on chicken feet.
Let's say you get hired by a salon as a hairdresser. You get paid to learn to be better at your craft, and you're given a preexisting customer base of the salon's regulars. You also get to enjoy their street presence and marketing.
Maybe you get good at hairdressing. Maybe you get some customers there that always ask for you. You decide to leave the company because you want to go it on your own and take all the profits. Now you've got to buy your own premises/transport, strike deals with shampoo manufacturers, buy your scissors, hairdryers, and one of those fancy sinks that has the neck dent in it.
None of this is cultish or pimpish. You're simply a retard who's never held a job.

I didn't catch it until after the fact, but from the Phase Discord, it sounds like some guy got pissy that his submission wasn't recognized even though he was one of the first to post in the reddit thread and that devolved into an argument with Pippa which may have also spilled over into the subreddit which is also now gone.
