The way people are going out of their way to defend Rekieta is insane. If it ends up this all being a big misunderstanding, fine. My bad. But even at the best case scenario of him "just" being an alcoholic and that other woman taking over the roll of the nanny. How do you let your kids go outside smelly with dirty clothes? Imagine being the rich guy in the area and your kids "look homeless" as my mom would say. One would think you'd want to do your best to keep up appearances.

Its projection once again. Andrea does 99.9% of the parenting and work with their special needs daughter. EVS from his own admission, sits in his little gamer basement 10-12 hours a day, he claims he working. Hes not. Hes probably down there gambling, talking to men pretending to be women in chat rooms, you know...typical shit out of touch boomers get into. He claims once he finishes "working" he returns upstairs to spend the rest of the day with his wonderful family that he cherishes so much. Press X to fucking doubt. Like most teenagers who spend most their days in their room wanking and gaming, EVS probably only leaves that room to go eat dinner. He probably gets his food, and walks back down stairs and scours twitter looking for more drama to farm while his wife is doing all the real work with his daughter. The constant expensive dates and dinners are probably because his wife doesnt even like being around him that much. Because she resents the fact that hed rather lie, pretend like hes working, drama farm random on the internet than be an active participating dad in his special needs daughters life. But hey, I'm sure that all wrong and EVS really does draw 8 hours a day and is a model husband and father.

Considering EVS's dogshit childhood that he keeps trying to recontextualize as some boomer argument "back in my day" type of shit, it's not as surprising in retrospect that he would have the gall to try an argue that Rekieta's kids are the ones in the wrong. From his brother Noah's account in "One Dirty Tree", their father Harvey was a derelict absentee failure of a family man, who semi-abandoned his family to be a weed-smoking hippie, leaving his 9 kids to live in poverty and fend for themselves. Sound a bit familiar?

EVS trying his hardest to reformat his father as some heroic alpha male instead of what he actually is, just another abusive jobless piece of shit dad, seems relevant to Rekieta's case. EVS being "self-sufficient" and an artist by his teen years, wasn't because of some drive sparked by his Dad's sternness and parenting, it was literally because his Dad wasn't fucking around the house because he was getting high. I'm guessing that's why EVS is now gonna cope with Rekieta's lack of parenting, because of his own rose-tinted memory of his shitty father's lack of parenting.

Also, judging by Noah's experience with his Dad making him take baths, it may be relevant to why the fat fuck wouldn't be so bothered by Rekieta's kids not getting one:
