Even if that were the case the way Biden handled it resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people and the Taliban regaining power. I highly doubt Trump would have done that.

Nah, Trump set up a bullshit deal as a way to sabotage Biden. Kind of like how Obama moved a bunch of troops to the Russian border to sabotage Trump. It's just what American presidents do, on their way out they always try to knock over the first dominoe in an international incident to fuck over the next guy.

Luckily for everybody, Biden is a skilled and experienced statesman and managed to pull off the unthinkable and actually get our guys out of Afghanistan for good, completely cucking Trump and his petty little sabotage and cementing himself as the third or maybe even second best president in United States history.

It's very unlikely he'll see jail time but it'll probably be fines and prohibitions on certain financial stuff, Jordan Belfort is free but still disallowed from trading stocks, for example. Not an expert but white collar crooks are often treated with kid gloves in comparison to street criminals.

IIRC he only won by 40,000 votes. I tell his fans this all the time. One of the things I can not stand about the Trump base is the unearned authority they speak with when they act like they are the majority. They are not.

I am going to say what I believe lost Trump the election. It's 2 things (actually they are more like 1 thing but you'll see).

His ego and his need to be liked. Trump has a massive ego and that is one of his most annoying traits, this manifested in his policy because he didn't like being the bad guy everyone hated. He wanted to be a hero that everyone liked. This caused him to end up trying to please everyone and in the end he didn't please anyone. I will name some examples also note that I am trying to be as objective as possible and speak from the perspective of hard political strategy and less so what I personally want.

During the pandemic, he tried to hard to please everyone and pleased no one. He was all over the place, he payed lip service to alternative covid treatments which lost him the support of the I fucking love science people but he also shilled hard for the vaccine which lost him the support of the world truth.tv readers. He didn't implement nation wide locksdowns but he also allowed states to do whatever they wanted with lockdowns making harder to plan economic policy and making covid numbers look bad. He should have either implemented nation wide lockdowns and told the karens to get raped or he should have told the covidians to go fuck themselves and force everything open.

During the George Floyd riots. He went on and on whining about how violent things are yet did nothing to stop the riots, before you say he couldn't that is not true. George Bush used the military to put down the LA riots, Obama used the national guard to put down the riots in Ferguson he could have he chose not to because he didn't want to be a mean dictator. Meanwhile the people protesting saw him as a racist nazi and nothing he could do would change their mind. Look I am not pro Trump by any means but let's not kid ourselves here and pretend that most of the BLM crowd wasn't fucking delusional.

With guns, when a wave of school shootings happened in 2017-2018 there were calls for gun control. Trump didn't propose any of his own and talked a tough game about how pro gun he was yet he ended up letting more gun control laws go through. This killed off a lot of support from 2A people.

With immigration, the talked a tough game about it and did a whole lot of nothing. He also focused on illegal immigration when legal immigration and people over staying their vias is the bigger issue. Yet he tried to not go after legal immigrants out of fear of backlash. Needless to say this didn't work and he pissed off so many people.

There are even more examples and I could go into more detail but I didn't want to take up to much thread real estate.
