You forgot something else: you can’t make any test builds of anything without the feds being able to try to patent snipe you. Since all purchases are observable, if you try to by parts to make a new turbine based on a design you came up with, the feds will know you’re buying them. Removing him as the nomination would no doubt be the worst move the republicans could ever make. A large swath of republican voters would just simply not bother voting period and may even vote Dem in spite of them removing Trump. In fact, that might actually be the best choice moving forward if this does happen. If they won't let us have Trump, we wont let them keep their power and let the Dems have full reign. Why continue to vote for them after they have proven to be this ineffectual? I think it was Moldbug that said the worst thing that could ever happen to the Democrats is the total dissolution of the Republican party. As by that logic, this will create a vacuum for a newly formed conservative party filled with presumably younger people. People who would not yet be burdened with the baggage of the old party and people with the energy to to truly want to make effectual change. And on top of that, they wont be dragged down by career politicians wanting to "compromise" because they can give less of a fuck how their policy and decisions actually affects things and just seeking want benefits them personally. The major down side is that you will have to accept a Progressive controlled government for a while, but the hope is that an effective counter party will replace the old ineffectual one.
