I wonder if Trump ever regrets getting into politics. he had a great life before this - big TV star, making millions per year on Celebrity Apprentice, respected by most fellow A-listers, a swanky apartment in New York, model wife, great kids, always invited on every talk show to give his POV and everyone just laughed off everything he said as funny/entertaining. as an obnoxious TV star, he could get away with his flaws - being obnoxious, un-PC, speaking off the cuff, shooting from the hip, acting immature and unprofessional, public Twitter spats, colorful political opinions, being thin-skinned, corrupt, etc. but as a politician, the world came to view him very differently and it’s cost him so much - friends, important connections, future opportunities and maybe even his freedom (he’s facing the rest of his life in prison).

He was only running because Putin put him up to it, and his ego liked the idea of battling Hillary Clinton. He didn’t think he had any chance of winning., it was more of a publicity stunt and a thumb in the eye of the establishment..
But he didn’t want to be a loser either so he gave it a good try and did things like suppress embarrassing information from coming out. And the Russians made full use of the information they had hacked from the DNC and spun into damaging attacks, on his behalf. And marketed on Facebook to great effect.

I don't he think he regrets it. How fun would it be rotting away with your country? Like Null has gotten tons of shit on him for the forum but he's still on the record as being mostly happy, even if the world is shite. You work for what you believe in you can take a lot of crap and still be at ease I think.

I'm sure to an extent he does. I mean i think he just wanted more than he already had maybe? It's not everyday you get to be president of the United states. I am not in the dudes head so I don't know his exact reason for wanting to get into politics. What I am sure of is that it's caused him alot of trouble and money which I'm sure has ticked him off and the stress hasn't been good on his health either. I think he has enjoyed some of it. To be clear with my political opinions I don't hate trump but I don't worship the guy either, same with Biden.
You can live in a shitty country and be happy and have fun, there’s literally millions of people who do this lol. Even if the country sucks, Trump was living the dream, I’ll bet it didn’t suck for him.

It is a fascinating scenario that is playing out with DJT. He can still become President. For a moment, (and I don't think it will be part of the sentencing) that he is ordered to serve a prison sentence, the judge, appeals court and SCOTUS would likely order the sentence to be carried out after he has completed his term as President of the United States - should he win.

Well....we were all sure (even CNN) that the trial couldn't possibly end in a conviction because it was so fucking ass-backwards retarded. Not even the spiteful, true-blue-no-matter-who NYC Dem cocksuckers could declare the man guilty of an aggravating felony charge the DA never even disclosed we told ourselves.
